The location and setting of the hotel are truly stunning and a welcome break. The staff are wonderful and some of the friendliest people we met in Morocco. The dinner service was fantastic with tasty authentic food, genuine entertainment and a lovely candlelit ambience - some of the best food we had in Morocco! Would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique stay in Todra Gorge.

The pool was small, more of a water feature and the road up to the hotel is steep but manageable. The location of the hotel is slightly different to the map, however easy to find once you ask a local.

Excellent stay. Beautiful location. Staff was very friendly. Only downside of our stay was the wifi. WiFi connection was spotty at best and was down the night we stayed. There was no cell service at all. We stayed in a cave room and even outside of the room there was no cell service or wifi at all. It’s good to disconnect and understand the remoteness of the location. We were just worried our kids can’t reach us in case of an emergency. Just be aware of this when you stay there. Otherwise, overall the stay and experience was great. FYI, There’s excellent cell reception as soon as we got back on the road.

The location is truly amazing and a must visit if you have the time to drive. We slept in a cave room which was amazing, quite spacious also! The staff was truly friendly and cooked us a delicious dinner! The view and amazing stars in the sky are totally worth the long drive.

The swimming pool is quite small and was too cold for us to jump in. The bed was too short for us, but we are tall people. In the night it got quite hot in the room and with a small van next to the bed it was not cooling down that much. An airco would have been nice!

If you are looking for a special experience, this is the place! Tucked away in the Todra Gorge, far enough away from where the tourists all go, is this stunning "castle" on the side of a mountain. The rooms are spectacular, decorated in traditional fabrics and textiless. We stayed in a cave room, which was by far the most interesting room we had stayed in. The next day, we took a guided hike into the gorge and saw nomadic homes, sheep high up in the mountains and stunning scenery. Our guide, Amin, was great and very interesting to talk to. The food for dinner and breakfast was delicious. We highly recommend this inn for people who like things off the beaten path.

Our time at Auberge Todra Gorge was truly special! Located in one of the most stunning canyons with some of the most beautiful skies in Morocco, the setting was absolutely beautiful. The hotel itself perfectly blends rustic charm with sophistication, offering quality and comfort. The staff was incredibly polite and attentive, and we can’t forget to mention the adorable four-legged intern, who added such a lovely touch to our stay. It was the perfect place to recharge our energy before continuing our adventure to the desert. The shower was nice, the food was delicious, and the music added a wonderful ambiance. Auberge Todra Gorge is yet another unforgettable gem of Morocco. Thank you for everything!

Nothing to say, everything was nice!

Everything. My second stay here and it didn't disappoint. Fantastic location, we stayed in a 'cave' room which are amazing. The food was also really good as were the staff who could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable.

There was nothing we didn't like, the place is fabulous. Perhaps, only a slight niggle is the pool is a plunge pool and not a pool for swimming. There is a large patio area which may have benefitted from some furniture and especially shade so it could be used for recreation but I'm being really picky. The place is great and we will be back again.

A fabulous find in the Todra Gorge with amazing views. The room was quite big and comfortable. Bathroom clean and tidy with a separate toilet. We had a large terrace outside our room with table and chairs. The hotel is eco friendly with its own well and generates all its own electricity through solar power. It has a plunge pool and lots of places to relax around the property. The food was excellent and in the evening the staff played traditional berber music. The staff here are amazing, so friendly and very helpful and welcoming.

Amazing view!!! It’s a magical location between two mountains just next to the river. To park your car you have to go through a little bit of water and cross to the other side. The place is totally silent at night and run only on solar energy or occasional generator. There is no mobile phone reception and WiFi is available only in the restaurant so everyone can just relax. We booked the cave and it was amazing. Hot water, comfy bed, might be hot in high summer but we had rain. I regret not staying for two nights and exploring the walking tracks better. It’s interesting how all the tourist busses and crowds accumulate just few kms down on that one asphalted spot where all the stalls and dirt is and so few manage to reach this spot which is you sand times better. Vegetarian options possible. Great breakfast.

Amazing location in the middle of the gorge. Beautiful surroundings and buildings. Spacious room with hot water at night. Dinner and breakfast were superb, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Have stayed here before 11 years ago and it is still just as good as it was before, they keep the place up well! Had fun playing music with the staff at night: this was actually fun and not forced fun. Amin especially was super kind.

The shower is hot but could use a holder, now one of us held it while the other showered. Be mindful that because it is selfsustained you cannot use high voltage (e.g. hair dryers) - phone charging is fine - and will be charged for hot water useage. Heating is with a gas heater as well, but it worked.

Our stay at this place was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we felt like home. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. The dinner was a delicious, authentic Moroccan meal, and the breakfast was equally fantastic. Sleeping in a cave was an unforgettable experience—everything was clean, warm, and incredibly comfortable. The atmosphere was truly magical, and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and memorable stay. Don’t miss it if you’re visiting the Gorges!
