I stayed here for 9 nights with my mother while we climbed and explored the Todra Gorge. Sue and the rest of the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was included and we enjoyed the views from the balcony. We enjoyed being close to the Gorge, but far enough to not be immersed in the noise. At first we struggled to find the location, but after asking at the climbing shop we learned we had to drive down what looked like a dry river bed. Nice comfortable accommodation at a economical price

There is no access (that I am aware of) to a kitchen, therefore making lunches and the freedom to prepare your own food is a bit limited.

Amazing view on this beautiful valley and the mountains from the rooftop but also from the room. Heating in the room Beautiful ways through the valley for reaching the riad/gorge (which, crossing a river without a constructed bridge, was more than a challenge alone with a child, a backpack and a stroller - but still possible) Friendly, helpful personal Very quiet, peaceful place The constructions going on between the rooms and the restaurant building didn't disturb at all (no loud machines were used)

Breakfast room was a bit chilly, but perfectly ok with jackets.

On the other side of the river and very peaceful. The staff is amazing, very helpful but not intruding, honest and kind. They made us feel at home. The breakfast is always freshly made and with stunning views from the terrace, on walls of the gorge and gardens. They offer lunch and dinner and you can use their kitchen (and meet their lovely chef 😊). The rooms are cozy, each room has a bathroom. Highly recommend!

Not accessible by car, 3 min walk from parking uphill.

The hotel is perfectly situated in the picturesque old part of the village, with the helpful assistance of the friendly Majid. It serves as an ideal starting point for both scenic mountain excursions and exploring the stunning canyon.

The breakfast could be enhanced by offering more locally sourced products rather than store-bought items. The cleanliness of the tablecloths and utensils could also be improved. Additionally, the dining area would benefit from a bit more organization.

The room was big and clean, with excellent water pressure in the shower. The view from the terrace was amazing. The location is away from the main road on the other side of the river, tucked in amongst mud brick houses. To get there you park your car on the otherside of the river and walk 5mins through the narrow streets the path is under the ancient buildings like a tunnel in places! For us we really loved the opportunity to stay in such a village environment, yet have all the comforts of a lovely guest house. The staff also spoke good English.

We arrived after a long drive and were surprised to find that the parking is on one side of a stream and the hotel on the other - crossed by two wooden planks :) A short walk through narrow streets and we arrived. The room was fine, and we absolutely loved the rooftop terrace. Breakfast was one of the best we had during our whole trip! You can tell the owners and staff truly care about the place and keep improving it (a swimming pool in progress!).

The best hotel in Morocco with very nice and helpful staff. They helped us park the car and carry our luggage. we are in winter, but our room is very warm thanks to air conditioning. The room is very cozy and comfortable. We have a wonderful view of the valley and the ruins of old houses, so it is magical. We were given a hair dryer. The hosts prepared a very delicious dinner for us. In the morning we received a very tasty breakfast included in the price, and there was plenty of it.

Nice guesthouse close to the old town, behind the gardens and a bit off the street. The room and bathroom was spacious compared to similar budget guesthouses. The food was good. You have a roof top terrace whith views over the gardens, the village and towards the entracne of the gorge. You can not directly reach it by car, its a 5 to 7 Minutes walk fromt the street. We liked this actually, since you could walk to the Gorge through the gardens, which was a much more pleasent walk (although when you reach there by night the first time, you need good orientation sense to find it). As well the hiking trek came directly down behind the guesthouse. We met other climbers there and we stayed there over a weeks.

We were there over new Years eve in winter. Our room was really cold (Most budget guesthouses will have this problem). We had enough blankets, but some rooms, like ours didnt have a (AC) heater. As well the common room was quite cold, although it had as usual here a gas heater. But for the size of the room it was simply not enough. so bring warm clothes.

Very nice hotel inside a traditional old village right by the gorge. The hotel was easy to find and the room was very big. There was hot water and the wifi worked well. The staff was very accommodating and even gave us some tea on arrival. Definitely would recommend to stay there again.

The breakfast was okay but fairly basic. We had some food for dinner in the restaurant, but the dish was fairly blant and on the pricier side for what it was.

The price was good and you get what you pay for. The owner was friendly and helpful. The view from the rooftop is amazing, must be the best in the valley- definitely go up there for sunsets if possible. I found it fun to wander on the narrow streets trying to find the way home. The cappuccino in the morning was also really well prepared (now if they only managed to get some really good quality coffee beans..)

The place had a bit of an old castle vibe so it felt cold and wasn't very cozy. I now see white bedsheets on all the photos but we also got the synthetic fleece bedding full of static electricity..
