This was our third stay at Brigadoon over a period of 20 years and the first stay since the new owners took over the property. We have always loved Brigadoon, but it is now better than ever. The renovations to the property were spot on. A special mention must be made of David the manager and the rest of the staff.. David was always friendly, always helpful with advice about Swakopmund and went the extra mile.

We had a wonderful stay here. The warmth, attention and quality of the service from David, Frida and the whole team was exceptional. Our room was wonderful, very comfortable and spacious and super clean. David organised tours and outings and was very accommodating. The breakfasts were delicious and set us up for the day. This is a wonderful guest house and it is worth staying for more than just a night.

Staff exceptionally welcoming and friendly throughout our stay, also helpfully offering to book restaurants and activities. The guesthouse is a beautiful old building renovated to a high standard, and is very conveniently located only a few minutes walk from the town centre and numerous restaurants. Rooms spacious and exceptionally clean (better outlook for rooms around the garden). Really happy with the stay here - perfect.

Location of property within walking distance from waterfront and esplanade as well as restaurants. Staff was kind and helpful and made our stay worthwhile. Enjoyed the well presented breakfasts and special treatment in preparing your eggs, etc. Well done to the 5 people who operated the guesthouse!!

Did not like the size of the room and bathroom - too small with no place to put anything!! Did not like the awkward step into the small bathroom and the bathroom doors not closing properly.

Excellent rooms close to the waterfront, walking distance to nearly everything. Clean and spacious rooms, most with a terrace in the inner yard, friendly staff, great breakfast and coffee all day long.

From the time we entered the door friendly David was there to tend to all our needs.

There was nothing let down besides the pillows which were too soft, otherwise everything was on point !

Very nice rooms in a good and quiet neighborhood. We were greeted with a cup of coffee and some biscuits😊 Staff was also very nice and helpful. We recommend. Also within walking distance of nice restaurants!

The entire set up at Brigadoon is beyond my expectation. The staff were professional and friendly. The facilities were fantastic and comfortable. The location was in walking distance of everything we wanted to do.

Unbelievably friendly staff, great location, nice new facilities. Delicious breakfast and a nice courtyard / porches to hang out in. Housekeeping went above and beyond (eg ironing clothes left out).
