Ok, this was the BEST LODGE of our stay in Namibia. THE BEST. The 4 giraffes AND oryx are VERY close to us. Breakfast was good (not enough bacon though). Bed was comfy. Shower was good. Rooms deco are very cool. The team is AMAZING. The pool is cold but cute (but like every pool in Namibia). Very close to the city center (20 min drive), 1H drive from the airport.

Well, everything was really amazing BUT, if I have to say a few few tiny things, I’ll mention that there was just a tiny piece of bacon with the eggs (very good eggs btw) and maybe that I wasn’t aware that it was going to be so cold is the « luxury tent ». Thanks god you can warm up the bed (that’s amazing !).

Our first night in Windhoek was truly unforgettable here. Dinner was a fine dining experience—elegantly prepared and full of flavor. The next morning, breakfast was just as delightful, and the highlight was watching giraffes and oryx nearby as we ate—an amazing and surreal experience. The tents were cozy, well-furnished, and came with all the necessary facilities, including WiFi, which was a nice bonus. A perfect blend of comfort and adventure to start our journey!

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Let's start with the staff, they are incredibly kind and helpful, and at moment i felt like I was at home. The rooms were very beautiful and in African safari style, everything in the room was very clean, I felt very comfortable. I also paid 18€ per person for dinner, it was very tasty, especially the fish and oryx, and also we had a dessert. I recommend everyone to book dinner at this hotel, you will not regret !! But the most amazing thing is that two giraffes live on the territory of this hotel, Joanna and Natasha. You can meet them while walking on territory of hotel or every morning they come for breakfast near the pool and you can feed them. I was very glad to get to this hotel and I am sure that I will return again and again !

The facilities were beautiful. We loved the tents, which were gorgeous and very clean. It was also the only place we stayed in Namibia that had a pool warm enough to swim in this time of year, which got two big thumbs up from the kids. The giraffes and food were also big pluses.

The tent got very cold at night, but there were plenty of blankets. (I wish I had noticed the heated blanket before morning!)

This is one of the best experience we have had during our 1 week visit in Namibia. The hosts and the staff are all amazing- they are so friendly, welcoming and they did everything to make you feel like home. As we need to leave very early the next day, they prepared a breakfast box with love to us- it’s just too heartwarming. The hospitality is unbeatable. The view here is also extraordinary. The room is so beautiful and comfy. The giraffe is so cute! Apart from the above, I miss the most the cuddly little black cat, whom I named her Maymay like my cat at home. She so lovely and adorable and she accompanied us the night and greet us goodbye in the morning. I miss her so much and I wish her continuing to be a happy cat roaming freely in the bush. We wish to come back soon!

Nothing- everything is just perfect

My son waited his entire trip for a stay at this resort. Dinner was delicious and breakfast was really good. The staff is super attentive. The pool is heated and it was good even in July. And well, the four giraffes wandering the area along with the oryx and springboks- what’s not to love. They have electric sheets to keep warm during the night.

We booked for our last night of holiday , as it is only a short drive to the airport from the property. Our tented cabins were spacious and featured a lovely balcony area . We pre booked dinner , service and menu choice was very good , as was breakfast :) The pool area is rather special as it over looks a waterhole which is visited by animals on the reserve , including giraffes.

Nothing not to like !!!

The room is comfortable with kitchenette on the patio. The host is very welcoming. There are many friendly animals in/around the camp. The giraffes come every morning, and also a lovely cat around the reception. The food was also excellent( other than breakfast included in the package, we book dinner for some extra cost).

Lovely location in the bush but still very close to town. Attentive and friendly staff. Beautiful breakfast setting next to the pool with the giraffes Joanna and Natasha. Well decorated and large tent rooms, with lovely bathrooms.

The midday heat was uncomfortable without an aircon in the tent. Our ceiling fan (tent 6) was too noisy to use at night, although the night time temperature soon dropped quite low and the fan was not needed.

We really enjoyed our stay at Windhoek Game Camp. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-decorated. The dining/bar area was really relaxing and a great spot to enjoy our meals. We ate breakfast and dinner there and the food was excellent. The high point were the 2 giraffes that visit every morning for some breakfast. It was very entertaining. I recommend this hotel to other travelers.
