The Service (all staff!!!) was fantastic! There were all SO positive and attentive! What might have become a problem, was solved elegantly before! You never needed to find somebody to help you - they were there!!! The Terrace and the View from the terrace was breathtaking The Room was beautifully decorated, the A/C and the light was good, and it was really good with the windows - through which you could look out (only) A Balcony would be appreciated - but we knew it was not there The Food was very good - very high quality!

The Price was much too high: 1. Both the price for the room and 2. The Price for the food/wine The Bathroom: 1. Was much too small compared to the price of the room and 2. Needs to be renovated - updated, more space, shower cleaned and as the most important thing: Install ventilation! The Room: 1. No minibar, no coffee-making facilities 2. The pillows and the quilts were of pure quality Lounge: The Hotel needs a lounge or something similar with A/C. During the hot hours from 11-15, we needed to stay in our room and svitch on the A/C Swimmingpool: It is not a swimming pool - it is a "dipp-pool". But a few of the guests used it

They are in the process of renovating the restaurant. Dinner was now served in the breakfast room. Food was below standard. Visited the hotel more than a dozen times and dinner this time was not up to par. Starter was cold and tasteless, main course fish was very dry and tasteless. Perhaps the kitchen was being renovated as well. Dinner was not worth the hefty price they charge. Hopefully better next time and right now I would go elsewhere for dinner.

Heinitzburg is a beautiful hotel and I would love to stay there again. From driving in to leaving, everything was a positive experience. Unfortunately we missed out on having dinner in their beautiful restaurant. We had a glimpse of the cellar which is unbelievably impressive. Staff were amazing.

There is absolutely nothing to criticise.

This is a very charming, historical property with a beautiful restaurant and an excellent view. The staff was incredibly accommodating. They arranged for both a massage and a city tour on short notice. The room was unique and very comfortable. There is also a resident cat who charms the guests. I would stay here again.

Fantastic hotel, excellent staff, beautiful loction and lovely rooms. We booked Hotel Heinitzburg for a couple of relaxing days before traveling home, after a long journey in South Africa and Namibia. It absolutely met our expectations and is warmly recommended.

Highly recommended. I have stayed many times at the Heinitzburg and will stay in the future. The staff is awesome - very friendly, great service and excellent food. A unique hotel and the best place to stay in Windhoek.

Not many facilities once you check out we had a flight late evening but had to check out as normal at 11am no showers available, apart from cold by the pool, toilets round the back and down a dark stairwell

I loved how clean the rooms are and the decorations. It made me feel like home. For me a hotel must make me feel like I’m at home in terms of cleanliness and comfortableness, including the decor. This hotel met all the things I mentioned, the air in the room felt clean and fresh. Amazing.

Beautiful historic hotel with fantastic views over Windhoek. Excellent service, drinks and great food. Very relaxing.

The room was very clean and well proportioned. Unfortunately the AC is very weak so we were not able to cool it down during our 3 nights. Hence we did not manage to get a good nights sleep.

The rooms are quirky, well decorated furnished and very spacious. The staff was super friendly. The dinner was one of the best we had in Namibia. We had room service for our dinner and it felt like the restaurant was brought into our room, it was amazing! The view from the breakfast room is great.

The breakfast could be better for a hotel of this kind, with more choices.
