Ok.but a variation some days would be good.

Need taxi for town. Or 40 min walk.taxis can rip u off WiFi poor.TV needs I T expert .a few things need tweaking. But we're soon ficed. Caution. We were mugged on main St in town .spent all day with police and banks. It spoilt our hols. If elderly or infirm book ground floor as upstairS units are a 20 step climb.

Everything about the Windhoek Garden Boutique Hotel is simply perfect. I arrived after being released from Hospital as I had had an accident while on a cycle tour around Namibia. Im from New Zealand. The staff were exceptional, absolutely went above and beyond to help me and assist in my recovery. The grounds are an absolute delight to walk or to just simply sit under one of the amazing jaccaranda trees was pure bliss. Helpful staff, great restaurant food, made for a wonderful recovery place to be. I would go back and stay there in a heartbeat. The linen, the towels, the bedding all top quality. My kinda place for sure. The reception staff were always so helpful even to the point of organizing taxis so I could travel to the supermarket, or when I was feeling better and wee tour around Windhoek. I actually ended up staying for 19 nights as I was unable to fly due to my punctured lung, The wonderful Manager and all the staff became an amazing family to me.

Nothing to improve on - its an exceptional hotel to stay.

The room was spacious, the bed big as an ocean. Comfortable, neat and lovely. Also large shower well accommodating. The staff (lady by the name Liezel) I hope I spelled her name right, really assisted me as I arrived very early but she was able to help me get a room before check in. And assisted me with my bags, really lovely lady... Thanks to her I had a lovely comfort stay. 😊

Steps are bit steep up but at least I was by the first room so I didn't walk far, it seems the facility is only by the steps no lifts as its only a double story. Not a lot of options on breakfast (its not a buffet) but understandable for the price. I had trouble with the aircon.

My last stays at other hotels in Africa, the speeds were hit or miss; most often slow with disconnects. I gave up on downloading episodes from Netflix for flights. Here, I downloaded 3 in the time I would still be waiting for 1 elsewhere. This was a 'holiday' trip, no Zoom meetings; however, based on the speed, I'm sure the wifi here can easily handle those. 𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦 Excellent location for long or short stays. Great for Digital Nomads! I was so impressed with the 1 night stay before my tour that I'm looking forward to my return stay in a few days. So glad I booked here instead of the more costly international brand hotel I was considering. 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗜 𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗘𝗗... • Fresh and modern interiors, very well designed. • Pristinely clean. Very comfortable bed with soft linen. • Nice lightly fragrant toiletries. • Excellent gracious and attentive service. Elizabeth (manager during my stay) was so nice. She delivered a tasty breakfast-to-go the night before I left for my tour early the next morning. • Very generous and varied coffee/tea service in the room. • Restaurant on premise. • 20 min easily walk to a shopping center for groceries, etc. • Although Windhoek is one of the safest cities in Africa, here they add extra security with a 24 hour guard and gated perimeter fence. • HUGE shower, toiletries fresh pleasant scent, nice sized towels • Mini-refrigerator in a cabinet with a separate shelf above the fridge for dry goods. Nice not to have my groceries in view. • Bedside outlets; look under the 'wall floated' night stand. • Very quiet neighborhood, peaceful sleep with no street noise. • Clean, well-managed and maintained property. • The furnishings are nice. • Excellent air conditioning.

This was our second stay at Windhoek Gardens Boutique Hotel. it is a lovely hotel with great facilities. the restaurant serves excellent foid for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had 2 types of rooms, to be honest the second room the Classic was much better than the Deluxe, being newer, less spacious but more comfortable. the staff are exceptional, so friendly and helpful, thoroughly recommend this hotel

We only had one gripe, the first room had no running hot water for 12 hours. it was a Saturday night and the couldn't get anyone to fix it. also no towels and it took over one hour fir them to arrive after requested. on our second stay, this time only one towel instead of two, so another request. These were minor due to fullness of the hotel.

Before I ever set foot on this property, I felt welcomed. Reservation Specialist Wilbard David was very responsive to all of my inquiries, and ensured that I had all of the necessary information to make the most of my time in Windhoek and Namibia. Once I arrived, I was warmly received and grateful for the reviews that led to a lovely stay at the beautifully designed property. The responsiveness did not end once I arrived, as an issue was quickly resolved and led to the rest of my stay in an even better room than the first one I was received, which I really liked. Both beds (room 1 & 2) were very comfortable, and the showers were a good size (although more shelf space and place to hang washcloths in the second room would have been nice). I enjoyed a very hospitable staff each morning at breakfast, and appreciated sitting outside to enjoy the fresh air while indulging. Even though the property is located in a busy corner, I was able to enjoy wonderful views at the establishment and in a short walking distance. In addition, there is a mall in walking distance (just be careful crossing those intersections), and exploring the city by foot is very convenient. I easily navigated the city by foot multiple times during my stay. Lastly, the owner was so kind, and made sure I was taken care of. This made a huge difference, and I would definitely recommend this property to anyone staying in Windhoek.

There's not much to dislike about Windhoek Gardens. My only items are not deal breakers, but I would say that: 1. Breakfast could use a little more variety for those staying longer than a couple days. It was delicious, but a vegetable omelet each day did get a little monotonous during my longer stay. 2. The second room I stayed in didn't have outlets by the bed, so I definitely had to rise and shine each morning when my alarm clock went off. 3. A bigger trashcan would be nice, or I could have asked where to take my larger trash at night. 4. Lounge chairs by the pool. Although it was a bit cold for swimming, it would have been nice to lounge by the pool. Overall, absolutely wonderful stay! Thank you Windhoek Gardens team for making my first time in Namibia so positive.

We enjoyed our two nights at Windhoek Gardens Boutique Hotel. Room was big with tv, refridgerator and a patio where we could sit outside. We ate dinner at the restaurant both nights. We enjoyed our meals. Breakfast was very good. This is a perfect hotel to stay at when visiting Windhoek for some few days. You can walk to the city centre. Everything was fine. Nice swimming pool as well.

We made the hotel organize a ride to the airport. We were two and had to pay 850 Namibian dollar. Maybe a bit expensive.

The hotel is quite modern and very well-presented. Rooms are comfortable and very clean and tidy. The restaurant and bar are a very welcome addition with a good range of reasonable priced food and drink. The location is a short drive or 30 minute walk from downtown Windhoek.

We stayed twice, either end of our trip to Namibia, and both times the room we were initially offered was not the room we had booked. Fortunately they managed to juggle things to correct the problem in both instances but only just as the hotel was very busy. On our second stay there was a group of 3 local businessmen using the bar and sitting outdoors being quite loud well into the evening. The guests' behaviour is clearly not the fault of the hotel but I think that staff could address the issue without being asked, at the end of the day the establishment is, first and foremost, a hotel not a commercial bar.

All of the staff are excellent, kind and friendly, and helpful!! Our rooms were exactly right, very clean with comfortable beds and everything we needed. The property is located in a fairly quiet area. We had supper in the on-site restaurant and it was delicious and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was included with our room and offered hot and cold options, all of which were great! We are happily staying here again on our way out of Namibia. Highly recommend.

Everything was great

I was first in doubt about the hotel after booking it as I didn't know how far it was to the venue of my event. However, with Windhoek been not such a busy city, the hotel was a mere 5 minutes with Yango to the event venue and so the location was great. I also liked the rooms with the amenities they provide from the bed, the desk with a comfy chair, team making facilities, the wardrobe for hanging clothes with wooden hangers. a safe although small as it cant contain a laptop, the balcony and of course the large bed and the breakfast, which surprisingly had double cream plain yoghurt, very rare to find in many hotels. Attention to customers was good. I reported my room not properly made up, and it was promptly attended to by management and of course my late check out request. Thank you

There is not much that I didn't like. Although I liked the bathroom, it however lacked storage space for one's toiletries. There is no space to put toiletries around the wash basin. The shower is great, but it spills water that runs the entire bathroom, perhaps its too flat to allow water to flow inward instead of outside. Not a big deal though. Its really a nice property with many amenities that are needed by travellers.
