Great location, a quick walk 2 blocks, and there's a grocery store. Short drive to everything else downtown. Very helpful staff in giving directions and recommendations, even called a game park for us to make sure our car could make it through the terrain. Private gated parking off the road. Clean rooms with comfortable beds, a large TV and air conditioning, mini fridge with cups, and a plug-in kettle. There is a cabinet with a safe to keep your belongings protected. They also have a pool! They have a full service restaurant inside the hotel, very generous, delicious portions of freshly made to order food for lunch and dinner. They have breakfast ready every morning with a fresh fruit salad, freshly baked bread and rolls, and a whole assortment of other goodies. Greatly enjoyed our 2 night stay and was a great way to kick off our first time in Namibia. Will definitely stay again, maybe even at the end of our current trip

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Uhland. The staff and owners were absolutely wonderful—so friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The room exceeded my expectations with how spacious and comfortable it was. I also really appreciated the wide variety of food available to order and the lovely breakfast each morning. The location is perfect—quiet yet close to everything. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Is a family hotel with 23 rooms distributed on a large area, with a nice breakfast area. The receptionist Charmaine has been very very kind. The breakfast is very good, also if is the same for all the day.

The room is a bit poor, the door is very thin and don’t fit, so there is a lot of space around the door. The furniture are very poor and simple.

We selected Hotel Uhland twice - when starting and when finishing our roadtrip through Namibia. The location is perfect and safe within own yard - good for parking your rented car. Excellent location, walking distance to almost everywhere, from Joe's Beer house to artscraft centre and Goodfellas restaurant, National museum, etc. The staff was so friendly, helping out a lot and giving us advises. The lodge is clean, with simple but decent breakfast. Rooms had good size, and they were able to fulfill our special request. The staff was very friendly to help us deal with all considering we hade a 1 year old girl.

It is not an issue with the property or that, it is just a wish since it was cold, we wish that the sitting area outside the rooms had an umbrella or shade to protect us from the fog and cold, since we couldn't stay inside to avoid making noise to the our babygirl. We also think that the breakfast could have more option.

The goulash soup, not good at all. Treat your cook to a goulash at Cafe Schneider downtown in the mall ;)

The buffet breakfast is a hunger buster and gets one going most of the day. The rooms are spacious, considering we came with a child. The hotel is located in a town but in a tranquil neighbourhood.

The TV sizes were small compared to the wonderful size of the rooms.

We came as Guests and left as Friends! We needed to receive and print documents and with one phone call, Charmaine (at Front Desk) went above and beyond to have everything ready and delivered. Breakfast was fresh every morning and great care taken to our comfort while enjoying afternoon drinks in the shade of the beautiful big trees. Thank you for making the start of our Family Vacation so special. Definitely on my 'accommodation list' for the next visit.

Good location 15min walk to main street and shopping area, staff are friendly and helpful, they allow me to rearrange my stay schedule with last minutes sossusfvei tour i signed up. something i would like to praise them. Have a good time staying there.
