The best hotel experience in Kathmandu. As Hotel hotel also organizes trekking and tours, we had booked a complete travel package from the hotel. Hotel team are the professionals in organizing trekking because they have been working in this field since long time. The Nepalese style food we tried at hotel restaurant was very very tasty, little bit spicy for us Europeans but you can tell them to put less spice if you want it like that. The garden area in the hotel is very nice place to eat food at.

We had an unforgettable time staying at this hidden gem in Thamel. What's really amazing was the kind hospitality—we felt more like guests in someone’s home than customers at a hotel. Each of our rooms was different, which made it feel more personal, and everyone appreciated the thoughtful touches like hot water at all times, and strong Wi-Fi. The staff went above and beyond to help us plan our days, from recommending local spots to arranging a last-minute trekking tour that turned out to be the highlight of our trip. Evenings in the small garden were so relaxing after the chaos of Thamel, and it was a perfect space for all of us to hang out together. It’s not a 5 star luxury hotel, but the hospitality here is many times better, and for us, that made all the difference.

We stayed at this small hotel in Thamel during our trip to Kathmandu, and it turned out to be a great base for our adventures. What we liked most was the location. Everything we wanted to see and do in Thamel was within easy walking distance, yet the hotel itself felt tucked away from the chaos. The rooms were all a bit different, some of us had balconies. We didn’t expect much from the little restaurant, but it turned out to be a convenient option when we didn’t feel like going out. For a small, no-frills hotel, it gave us everything we needed and made our group trip smooth and comfortable.

Reflecting on my stay in Kathmandu, I can confidently assert that if I were to revisit the city, selecting this hotel would be a definite choice. To kick things off, the hotel's proximity to key attractions, just a short 15-minute walk from the Kathmandu Durbar Square, adds a distinct advantage. The rooms themselves are adorned with charming Nepalese decor and come complete with modern amenities like air conditioning. A thoughtful perk is the complimentary breakfast stocked with an array of beverages, including water, juices, and soft drinks—truly a gesture that goes a long way. The breakfast spread, while not vast in selection, truly excels in terms of quality, which, in my opinion, makes it a perfect choice. The hotel staff, ever eager to ensure a memorable experience, stands out in their warmth and hospitality. There are a few individuals whose exceptional friendliness truly stood out. I vividly recall Narayan from the team, as well as his female counterpart, whose name escapes me. She diligently served throughout the week, shining particularly bright on the weekends. Additionally, I want to acknowledge Sita from the front desk, whose name might not be perfectly spelled here, but whose helpfulness left a lasting impression. A noteworthy incident occurred when I unintentionally left the room service indicator unchanged, resulting in the room not being serviced. It was my oversight, yet the night staff, including a male colleague whose name remains a mystery to me, promptly furnished us with fresh towels, water, and all that we needed. Overall, the entire staff exuded a kindness that significantly elevated the hotel's atmosphere.

Nothing noticeable.

My stay at this small hotel in Thamel, Kathmandu was absolutely amazing and exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome and were always very kind. The location of hotel is perfect—just a 2-minute walk to the Thamel market, yet the hotel itself felt like a peaceful retreat. My room was spotless, air-conditioned, and surprisingly spacious, with a nice balcony that overlooked the garden. I especially liked unwinding there in the evenings. The attached bathroom was modern, and I even had a bathtub, which was awesome! The little garden was a perfect spot for breakfast or a quiet read, and the restaurant served delicious food. I also booked a trekking package through the hotel, and everything was arranged smoothly and professionally. It was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in Nepal. Thank you so much to the hotel team.

Everything about our experience was fantastic. Narayan, the manager, assisted us with ensuring we had reservations for Zip fly at Nagarkot and that we had opportunity to do other activities around the Kathmandu should we like; Bibek the receptionist was extremely helpful in providing us to the details about the property and the surroundings and taking care of any small needs we had (i.e. a cab to Boudha). Additionally, Suman at the restaurant was fantastic - He kept us laughing and suggesting good dishes. At the garden - the main attractive spot where we ate breakfast every day and lunch most days, Anoj, Suman, and Pratikshya were most hospitable and always remembered the small details - like that I work with hospitalized children. And those are just the names I remember! Overall, aside from the views, the staff was the highlight for me. 10/10 would recommend, and would definitely return!

Do not book this hotel if you do not want to climb stairs, they lack an elevator!

very helpful staff, they will arrange everything you need. Transfer to the airport at a good price. Rich breakfast. Excellent chef - we really liked it. The hotel manager is also the owner of a travel agency and arranges trips at an excellent price. He is also a mountain guide (Mardi Himal, Langtang, etc.) Communication was very efficient. Rooms are clean, quality equipment including a kettle. 20 m good Czech pub. In the heart of Thamel. Luggage storage. On the day of departure, the hotel provided us with our room for half the price until 8 pm, including a shower. We will be happy to return.

some sockets were difficult to work. need to be replaced 0

Ah, mamma mia, this hotel in Thamel was just what we needed for our trip to Kathmandu! We are a group of Italian friends, and we like to enjoy life—good food, good company, and no stress. This place? Perfetto for that. It’s small, yes, but very cozy. The rooms are simple, clean, and have everything—air conditioning (very important, eh!), hot water. What we really liked was the location. Just two minutes and—bam!—you are in the center of Thamel with all the shops, cafés, music, and people everywhere. But inside the hotel? Very calm, very relaxed. The restaurant in the hotel is small, but the food was good, and sometimes we were too tired to go out, so it was perfect. The staff, kind, ready to help. They organized a trekking tour for us—fantastico! If you are traveling with friends, this hotel is a great choice.

Ah, yes, our stay at this little hotel in Thamel, how to say, it was quite a charming experience! We are a small group of friends from France, traveling Nepal for the first time, and this hotel was like a calm pocket in the middle of the vibrant chaos of Kathmandu. The location, fantastique! Just a few steps and we are in the middle of shops, music, food, everything. But inside the hotel? Tranquille. Very peaceful. My room had a small balcony, and in the morning I would sit there listening to the birds. The staff, they were not just staff, they were like friendly guides, always smiling and helping, but never pushing. They organized a small trekking plan for us, and even helped us choose the best momo spot in town. The garden was small but perfect for evening chats. It’s not a five-star place but it has everything we needed. For travelers like us who enjoy local charm over shiny things, it was parfait.

Staying at this hotel in Thamel was one of the best decisions we made on our trip. As a group of friends traveling through Nepal, we wanted something affordable, comfortable, and close to everything, and this place delivered on all fronts. The location is perfect; within minutes, we were in the middle of Thamel’s buzzing streets, yet the hotel itself felt calm and tucked away. The rooms were cozy and clean, with just the right amenities: AC, attached bathrooms, and surprisingly strong showers. We also appreciated the small garden where we could gather before heading out for the day. One of the biggest perks was the in-house trekking service; we booked a custom package, and it was well-organized and stress-free. For travelers who value location, comfort, and a friendly vibe, this hotel is a solid pick.
