Our family of four (two adults and two teenagers) from Australia stayed at Apsara Boutique Hotel before and after our EBC trek, and it truly felt like a calm and comfortable base in busy Kathmandu. The rooms were spacious and spotless, and the King Room with Mountain View offered nice glimpses of the hills beyond the city. Another thing what impressed us was the way the hotel supported our trekking plans. The night before our flight to Lukla, the weather reports started looking uncertain. We were nervous, but the front desk staff immediately offered to help us contact our trekking agency and even helped rearrange our early morning transport. Their local knowledge and calm support really reassured us. They also stored our excess luggage safely during the trek and had it ready in our room when we returned, tired but happy after 12 days in the mountains. If you are trekking in Nepal and want a hotel that understands the needs of trekkers: early breakfasts, flexible check-ins, and helpful logistics, Apsara Boutique Hotel is a fantastic choice. We are a couple from Turkey and stayed at Apsara Boutique Hotel during our trip to Nepal, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly kind, smiling and willing to help with anything we needed, from airport pickup to recommending nice restaurants. Our room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. We stayed in a higher floor room, and the view over the city and the mountains in the distance was beautiful. The location is ideal, right in Thamel but slightly off the main road, so it is peaceful and quiet at night. We could easily walk to restaurants and shops. Kathmandu was a perfect destination, and Apsara Boutique Hotel made us feel right at home. We would definitely recommend it to our friends visiting Nepal.

We are a family from Canada and stayed at Apsara Boutique Hotel in the King Room with Mountain View. The experience exceeded our expectations in every way! The room was spacious enough for our small family, very clean, and the large windows offered a stunning view of the mountains. The bed was big and super comfortable, and the amenities in the room (hot water, air conditioning, kettle, etc.) worked perfectly. The location is ideal, right in Thamel, but just tucked away enough to be quiet and calm at night. We could walk to shops and restaurants easily. The staff were incredibly friendly and professionals, ready to help with anything we needed for our plans, whether it was arranging airport transport, giving directions, or even entertaining our curious child. We felt very safe and well looked after at Apsara. If you are visiting Kathmandu with your family and want a relaxing and scenic place to stay, I would highly recommend booking the mountain view room here.

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a cozy bed, a hot shower, and reliable Wi-Fi, everything we needed after long days of exploring. We appreciate the warm hospitality of the staff. Everyone at the front desk and the restaurant was incredibly friendly and helpful, ready with a smile and great suggestions for what to see and do. This hotel was the perfect base for exploring Kathmandu and preparing for our trek in the Himalayas. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to fellow travelers.

Good location of the hotel- in Thamel area. Parking zone. Very good personal: friendly, diligent and welcoming. They fullfilled all my wishes. The deluxe rooms are fresh (after renovation) and warm. The breakfast is good: a lot of indian food, but i can also order the porrige or omlete. Fruits, vegetables, cakes... And very good coffee capuchino and masala tea. I stayed in the biggest room on the 7 floor - it was comfortable, with big balcony, big bad and good conditioner. As i know they will renovate the bathroom in this kind of room. So i was really happy here in the small but cosy hotel. Thanks a lot for your hospitality!

Super clean with excellent staff. The breakky was delicious with a good daily variety. Location means it’s tucked away from the Main Street, so it’s not too noisy. I wish they’d utilise the rooftop more because it has great views and it’s a fabulous spot for your afternoon sunset drinks.

There seems to be a new trend in Nepal with bathroom windows facing into the bedroom… it’s not even a dislike because we couldn’t stop giggling and it made for much hilarity! There really was nothing to dislike!

Mr. Bhagawan and his staff are amazing! I enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Apsara Boutique Hotel! Everything from the customer service, to my room, food and even my tours were exceptional. Thank you also to my driver, Mr. Chandra who took me for my tours daily. He was very friendly, professional and always on time. I’m sure that I will be back to visit the beautiful country of Nepal again!

the hotel is very nice and clean, the room are spacious and well taken care of, they have a generator, so we were not affected by the frequent power outages in kathmandu. the staff is attentive, friendly and professional. the location is in the thamel and thus in walking distance to a lot of shops as well as some of the major tourist attractions, like the kathmandu durbar square. Not with standing the location in one of the busier areas of kathmandu, the hotel is tucked in a quiet corner, meaning the rooms are shielded from the noise of the city.

Perfect location for staying in Kathmandu! The staff was super helpful and friendly! Storing my luggage was no problem! Also the airport transfers got organised perfectly for me. I can highly recommend the hotel and I felt perfectly safe as a female solo traveler! The breakfasts was also really tasty and they even cooked omelette to your liking and they had really good selection of food!

Thank you so much for mountain view room, Stayed here for 1 night. Tried their Saturday brunch buffet at Garden restaurant. Their food was very delicious considering it was a hotel buffet. Their staff was also friendly,wifi work very good. 1 stood out the most which was Thakur Thakur was very courteous and hospitable. He treated me like a VIP. He showed me all the food in the buffet. He also brought me food and drinks to the table to try (I didn’t need to go back and forth). Also kept checking on me if the food was good and if I needed anything. Indeed, a 5 star service! The best!
