- The room was big - Breakfast was superb and large

- The entry to the hotel is not clear. One has to walk through a long small street to reach a small door. No taxi can arrive there. You have to walk with your luggage about 250 mts for a small stone street. - No toilet paper - Not possible to pay with credit card, which, being so expensive, makes it that you have to bring a lot of cash with you, and in town there is only a place to change money, and for that reason, the exchange rate is very bad

I paid a little more for a room on the top floor with an amazing terrace with a splendid view to the east overlooking the beautiful valley. One could observe daily life in an agricultural area. I enjoyed spending 4 or 5 days here, soaking it all in and meditating at the caves. Those who spend but a day are missing a lot, IMO. Comfortable bed, roomy kitchen, and Stephan and Mikmar were fantastic. I’d love to return here some day! Oh yes, I arranged in advance for Mikmar to give us a ride directly from the airport, which made for a smooth arrival.

The family hotel is a very confortable place to take a deep rest in the nature of Pharping. Not so far from the crowded center of Kathmandou, Pharping seems to be another world! The Hotel was actually a mini flat, with a kitchen and a wonderful balcony very you can enjoy the sunrise above the rice fields..

the heating is a wood stove, beautiful, but there is a small price increase to turn it on

Unfortunately despite getting a confirmation from booking.com the guesthouse was unaware of our booking. Luckily it wasn't a problem as hotel wasn't full

It was our second stay at the guest house and once again, we felt taken care of by Mingmar and his sister Dolma. They were very accommodating and responded positively to our special requests.

Wonderful hotel! Large room with comfy bed and modern amenities. My balcony had the best views! Town a short walk and to temples. The family is so kind and cooked amazing dinners and the breakfast was perfect. A must stay!

Everything, the staff was above and beyond just amazing, the place was clean and the beds were comfortable!

Great location!! So happy we found it.

Stephan and his family were a true delight and made the experience feel like I was part of their family. The room was nicely decorated and the views were awesome, and so very peaceful, away from the main road.

there is nothing that I didnt like

This was a first-time stay in Pharping @ Hotel Swiss. In the absences of the owner, his niece (Dolma) and nephew (Mikmar) took the helm. Both did an excellent job: Dolma produced delicious meals (thanks for the sautéed veggies); and Mikmar, who retrieved me from the airport, was the unofficial but enthusiastic guide (young people and their energy)! What a memorable trip this was, I now have a connection to Pharping; I'll definitely visit again.

My stay was tooooo short!!

Hotel Swiss shines with hospitality and friendliness. we were welcome by the owner and immediately felt at-home. we joined dinner and breakfast during our stay. Both meals were made to order for my picky family. highly recommend staying here

should have reserved the room for longer!
