I have come and stayed 4 times now with Hotel Vintage Home, the staff always excellent and the owner Suresh is a absolute gem of a gentleman. He takes great pride in his hospitality and in his lovely intimate boutique hotel in the centre of the ancient Himalyan city of Bhaktapur. Breakfast on the roof top terrace garden, sweet rooms with a nostalgic atmosphere of being in a culture that cares for its guests. Rooms are simple, comfortable beds, lovely traditional windows with shutters to look out of and see the life of the local Khwopā (people of Bhaktapur). There are many guest houses and small hotels in Bhaktapur, some just operating as a business for tourists, Hotel Vintage Home is exactly that, a home away from home.

This property oozes with character. Such a beautiful stunning historic gem with all the modern comforts. The owner is accommodating and very helpful with advice, he truly cares and wants to ensure you have the best possible stay. Excellent hospitality. The staff are friendly and helpful too. Loved the breakfast which was adjusted to my peculiar dietary needs. The location is perfect. Everything that this beautiful city has to offer is a stones throw away. Clean spacious rooms! I just worlds I could have stayed longer. Bhaktapur is remarkable. I loved my stay here and would love to return.

The hospitality and sincerity of the hotel staff. This was our first time in Nepal. We got a reccomentation to stay there from our friend who was before. She was 100% right. Now I can say that if you are looking a cosy place to stay, book at Hotel Vintage Home. These guys can also arrange bus tickets to Pokhara and help with everything you need. Thank you 🌷 Lina and Darius.

I had a very pleasant stay. The room was comfortable, I always use a desk, wardrobe and a kettle so it was great and helpful to have those. I stayed at other places that didn't have these, and so I missed not staying there longer. Staff was very kind and helpful. I will definitively recommend this place. Other guests staying at the property were very nice and there was a great vibe at the place. Loved the terrace and bhaktapur area. Thank you for everything!

Spend 3 nights here in February. The rooms are basic but have everything they need and fit the price. Location is perfect, right next to durbar square. What really stands out is the owner and staff, who do everything to make your stay perfect, and to help you with questions about the surroundings and things to do. And bonus for the breakfast! We definitely recommend!

Comfy bed. Hottest shower we’ve had in Nepal but does take a bit of fiddling to get it to the right temperature. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were very kind. Very strong WiFi compared to other places we have stayed in Nepal. Our laundry was also done in around 10 hours for 200 rupees per KG.

Room was damp even with the electric heater that we paid 500 rupees for per night. Bathroom was cold and damp too. Unfortunately there was also no housekeeping meaning we only got one bottle of water, one toilet roll and no change of bins bags during our stay.

First and foremost, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, doing everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. We had a spacious room with a balcony, and the included breakfast was very good. The location is central in the historic part of town, with sights and great restaurants all within walking distance

Staying at Hotel Vintage Home was a great experience. Suresh was really helpful and helped me find a local guide to organize day hikes for me for a decent price. He also helped me find a yoga and meditation retreat and negotiated the price for me. He was really full of good advice. I highly recommend staying there as the rooms are cute and tidy, the staff lovely and the location perfect. Look no further if you're looking for a good stay in Bhaktapur, they really go above and beyond for their guests.

Nothing, no downsides at all.

Staff is very thoughtful, helpful. The place is very clean and prepared with attention to detail. The breakfast was very complete and delicious.

Being next to Durbar square, it's a quiet street. Although, there was some noise from occasional motorcycles passing by during the night. Nothing some earplugs can't solve.

The hotel is very central, just behind Durbar square and you can walk to the many places of interest. The hotel and the room are very very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They kindly moved me to a bigger room as I needed more space for yoga. There is also a nice terrace where breakfast is served. Will definitely stay again.
