The staff was very friendly and helpful. They supplied me with fruits I needed (not mentioned on their menu). The rooms are cosy and comfortable. The hotel is 100 m from the center and Durban square.. The best view over the main place you have on the rooftop where they serve delicious food. Just book and come, don't hesitate!

A small table in the room and the bathroom for stuff would be nice. Install pads for the chairs and tables in the rooftop restaurant could be a good idea to reduce the noice in the room.

its very peaceful location in a heritage site. the view from rooftop is eye pleasing with a direct with of Nyatapol Temple.

there is nothing that i didn’t like, even the owner is very humble and kind. he himself dropped in to the airport.

I guess this was the best hotel in entire bhaktapur, best rooftop restaurant, delicious food, great hospitality & polite staffs & the owner himself was very helpful, I recommend this hotel for everyone.

I love the location very near to bhaktapur square and shopping area in front of hotel. I love the staff they're very helpful and kind. I LOve the restaurant at hotel in rooftop really nice place to see the view of city and the food is really tasty, yummy one of the best yummy restaurant i ever eat in nepal. It's really wonderful & lovely to stay there which i will never forget. I am sure i will be back to this hotel if I have another journey to nepal🥰

we enjoyed our stay at Empire Hotel. It is centrally located at Bhaktapur. The owner Ashes is very humble and helpful. He himself came to pick us up at Kathmandu airport. The hotel staff is very courteous and food is delicious. breakfast is very filling. A cosy place in the center of bhaktapur.

Excellent hotel, perfect location, wonderful view, but the most important are the personnel. Fantastic friendliness and service! Delicious Nepali breakfast and excellent coffee! Thank you. It would be advisable to add a heater in the room during the cold season.

The view from the window and the top was unbelievable and even gave me goosebumps. And the most I appreciate is the hospitality and the facilities given by them.Unexpected services and the staff's good way of behaving uplifts us to visit time and again.Cleaniness, hygienic foods and beverages and the comfort accomodation facility encourage me to stay over whenever I visit the Bhaktapur. The most i like is the kind behaviour shown by the Owner and the availability at any time. At last, the experience I had in the last two days over there was awesome and unforgettable. They made me feel like a home far from the home.

It was rare to find the dislikes but thought im unhappy from the elevator coz their isn't. Due to which everytime had to exercise your leg to do ups and downs.

If you accept/understand you are in a city that is over 1000 years old there is nothing to complain about!
