Deluxe room size is fine. Bathroom is good. Bed was pleasant with a nice mattress. Location is great and direct trains to Amsterdam Centraal and Schiphol Airport are great. Staff was really polite and we didn't ahve any issues.

If you have loud neighbours - you will hear everything. We were lucky and had neighbours only on one night. It was a bit cold even with Climate Control turned on. Other than that there are not a lot to complain about especially for this price. There are a lot of restaurants nearby, but almost all of them are closed early, so we planned our breakfast in Amsterdam.

We stayed in this hotel 3 times last three months, and we got more than we expected. Everything was good : and location,and price,a hotel and friendly personal. When we came the third time- we got better room( deluxe room,116 )than we booked( big standard room)-- Thank you! Also we got extra warm blanket- thank you again. The room was very big, clean, everything worked . The woman from the reception was friendly and helped us immediately if we need it. This hotel is very close to the train station-6 min.walking(7€ with a train to Amsterdam Centraal), parking garage-2 min.walking (12€/per day), around are many shops, restaurants, Casino and cafes- it's a center of the city. It was also comfortable that there is a lift in this hotel, coffee machine /a fridge /TV/2 bottles water in the room. Every morning they changed the towels and cleaned the room.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 weekends in September ( room 106 and 107). We like everything: the hotel is clean,fresh,the beds were comfortable, appartements look beautiful. The atmosphere was friendly and we feel safety. The location is perfect( especially if you want to visit Amsterdam). In the rooms were slippers,shower gel, +2 bottles of water every morning (thank you), tea/coffee/sugar/milk poeder. Not any noise from the fridge. Parking was not far away (3 min.walking)/12€ a day. The workers of hotel were friendly, came to help immediately if we ask something (thank you), they also speak English - it was easy to understand each other. We recommend this hotel and also we will come again.

A beautiful city, the hotel is close to the train. There are places to have fun in the city.

The reception did not warn us that we could not check in earlier than we requested. And we had to wait for an hour near the room while they cleaned it. On Sunday, we were supposed to leave at 11:00 a.m., and the staff entered the room at 10:20 a.m. without knocking. It's terrible that they don't warn the staff at the reception who has left and who hasn't. The glass in the door to the terrace was broken in the room and the door to the terrace did not lock.

Nice hotel. Think undergoing works at the moment as corridors are abit messy. I was able to check in late due to train issues which was great but the staff behind the counter didn't know where the keys were or anything which was abit annoying at 2300. Rooms could do with AC. There was an AC Looking unit in there but it didn't work/had no remote ? Good place, handy for the train station, would stay again

The location is excellent! A five minute walk to the train station makes it easy to visit other major cities. The location on the square is fantastic as there are many excellent restaurants and pubs within very close walking distance. We were there during the week and it was pretty quiet after 9:00 p.m., but we were told by locals that the pace in the square can be more energetic on the weekends. There is also excellent shopping available within easy walking distance (8 minutes). I thought the value for the price was excellent.

Traffic is restricted in the square, so my GPS was a little confused on directions. I found the hotel easily once I stopped looking at the GPS and started looking at the signs on the buildings. I was able to park just outside the square and walk about 50m to the hotel to check in. We then dropped off our luggage and went to the nearby parkade to park the car. The parkade was easy to find and get in and out of. I would classify this as a micro hotel. The rooms are very small, but highly functional and the room size was not a concern as we knew we would be spending very little time in the room.

Hotel Cataleya provided four nights of absolutele comfort and bliss in a superbly clean room with a spacious bathroom, free Wi-Fi, quite outside environment and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble for the employees of Hotel Cataleya; including when I needed an iron: they provided me with one! Everything was tailored towards making my stay as enjoyable as possible and I had an exceptionally good experience at Hotel Cataleya! There was always someone to greet us or send us off with a smile on reception and that made me feel very assured - there was the human touch, unlike in many hotels nowadays (where you sometimes even have an online check-in desk/reception). The lift was always in working order and the room was replenished with bathroom essentials (shower cap, shampoo, shower gel, cotton buds, etc) after each clean. I recomment a stay in this hotel for anyone wanting to explore Amsterdam, but have a restuful night at the end of each day! I am certainly going to be returning to Hotel Cataleya in I am ever back in the Netherlands - thank you so much, you have been beyong amazing!

Third year in a row that we are staying at Cataleya in Almere. Great small city near Amsterdam, very easy to get there from the airport. 5 minutes walk from the train station and very well situated in a commercial area. Prices are well lower than what one would normally pay for this location.

All fine. Hotel located at the edge of main square in Almere and just five minutes on foot from railway station. Under normal circumstances train brings you to Amsterdam Centraal in 25 minutes. Compared to Amsterdam, prices are much lower at Almere. The room was spacious and bright - nothing to complain at.

The room was nice

There were renovations ongoing. I hadn’t been forewarned! Drilling and other noise from early morning. Also the bedroom doors bang very loud when they self-close. Residents should be asked to ensure they close quietly so as not to disturb others!!
