The location is top notch, close to majority of tourist attractions. Charming old building, excellent communication with hosts. In wintertime, the apartment was quiet and adequately heated.

Stairs (see other reviews). Somewhat sparsely fubrished, but functional. Three stars rating from Booking is in my view correct. I think the price (330 EUR/night) was on the stiff side, but the apartment is very centrally placed. Would probably stay a bit less centrally and cheaper next time, as public transportation in Amsterdam is excellent.

Friendly and Helpful Hosts: The hosts were delightful. They greeted me with a warm welcome and were always available to assist with any questions or requests. Their local recommendations were invaluable—I discovered some hidden places thanks to their helpful tips. Thank you!

Staircase Consideration: It’s worth noting that to reach the apartment, there are several narrow and steep stairs. While this wasn’t an issue for us, it might pose challenges for individuals with limited mobility or those who aren’t accustomed to climbing stairs.

Good location and easy access to the city and sights.

Not sure if it was spelled out in the actual bookings.com information, but this unit is on the top floor. It does have a beautiful view from the roof. However, you need to carry your suitcases up/down 75 stairs (narrow). If its a short stay and you have small suitcases, it may not be a big deal. We are traveling for 3 weeks, so we had large suitcases!

Our host was absolutely phenomenal. The unit had everything we needed - coffee maker, dishware, toiletries, etc. Sure the entrance was narrow and so was the stairwell, but it comes with the territory. The location is perfect for getting around the city. On the edge of the downtown area, which we found quite pleasant.

As other reviews mention, there are 2 rooms, but one of them contains the kitchen and dining room. Not a bad thing at all so long as you don't have to wake the person in the room with the kitchen in order to get water, etc.

This is a wonderful place. It's in a great location where you can easily walk to the main attractions in Amsterdam. The host is super helpful and provided recommendations on good places to eat and shop.

As others have mentioned there are a lot of stairs to get to the apartment. It was not a problem for our group, but might be for some.

There s no living room in the apartment which makes it impossible to chill in the apartment.I’m used to climbing steep stairs in amsterdam and this is not worse than the others bur because it’s in the fifth floor it was too much for me.

Great location. Nice quiet part of town but In walking distance of all the major sights. Host was amazing and helpful. Beds comfortable. Good space compared to room only hotel. Nice restaurants near by and closet to bus connections. Nothing to fault. Highly recommend

Location is very convenient. Very walk-able to all the spots in downtown Amsterdam. Quiet yet safe street. The host is incredibly responsive and does her best to accomodate us arriving earlier than expected. Great suggestions on local places to eat.

Only suggestion is, we should book Hmm Hap early.

The host was so kind and helpful with suggestions, the location was amazing! Very close to bus and tram stations if you needed them and if not a very quick walk into the city centre. The beds were clean and comfortable and the bathrooms were immaculate. Great places to stay, 10/10 recommend
