We wanted somewhere comfortable and relaxing for us and our daughter to stay during our 3-day stopover in Amsterdam. This place was the perfect choice! The location and neighborhood were great. The accommodation and facilities were great. The host (Marion) was great. Despite the typical Amsterdam steep stairs up to the apartment, it was well worth it if you are looking for a safe, quiet, clean place to stay in Amsterdam. Highly recommended!

Having to leave!!! Everything else was as close to perfect as could possibly be. We cannot fault anything. Even the stairs (which we thought would be a problem) weren't once we worked out how to best get suitcases up. And Marion showed us a great technique for getting them down when we departed.

Extremely tidy apartment with very comfortable large beds and each room has its own bathroom. Perfect alternative to a hotel where you can wake up and have a coffee and light breakfast. Location is perfect with everything nearby with the tram and bus just steps away. We took the 397 bus from the airport which was very easy. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby with 9 streets just a 10 minute walk. Marion was very helpful explaining how to get the tram. Only downside is the 4 flights of stairs to the apartment. Fine if you are fit but my 80-year-old mother with knee problems did struggle a bit but she did manage a 3 night stay in the end.

The place was in a perfect location central to many spots. We wanted to see. Marion was a fabulous host who took care of everything we needed, along with many extras, including recommendations, keeping our coffee, milk, refilled daily, and leaving us with drinks treats, and even some staples to eat. Wonderful, hostess wonderful place!

There is nothing that could be done about this, but there are four flights are fairly steep stairs. No elevator. But Marion was more than helpful with our luggage helping take up and down.

Loved it all! Marion was a wonderful host. A great breakfast was delivered every morning. Apartment was really clean, a lot of light, and a lot of attention to detail. The beds were the most comfortable ones we slept in during our whole holiday. Was also very comfortable staying as a group, with each bedroom having its own bathroom. Location was great - easy to walk to a lot of the main sights, and also close to different tram lines so was also easy to get to other parts of the city on public transport from here. As others have mentioned, the apartment is on the fourth floor so there is quite a few stairs (no different to anywhere else we have stayed in Amsterdam before though). This was not a bother for us, but is something to be mindful of if travelling with a lot of luggage or have mobility issues.

It was great to have some cereal, crispbread, yoghurt, and fruit at the property for us to use. The kids appreciated having some things there. The flat was very clean and comfortable, and in a great location -- next to a main bus station and tram stop, and also an easy 20-30 minute walk into old town.

Great location, perfect for 2 couples. Marion was the best host, great communication and ensured we had everything we could need for a most comfortable stay. The apartment was very clean and modern, beds were very comfortable and quiet despite being in a fairly busy section of Amsterdam. Highly recommended!

LOVED it here. The place is way bigger than you see on the pictures. It is clean, modern, comfortable. Marion is amazing, hospitable and so easy to deal with. We had a fantastic stay. Location is wonderful. Tons of great restaurants and things nearby. Yes, a lot of narrow steps but that did not bother us at all.

This was absolutely the best vacation place I’ve ever stayed in. Just exceptional. The apartment is immaculately, spotlessly clean and well appointed. Every detail well thought out from the placement of the light switches to the individual air conditioners in each room. Beautiful, light and airy, I didn’t even mind climbing the stairs to come home after a long day out. Marion provided the most delicious breakfast I’ve ever had at a B&B. Fresh bread, fruit and juice every morning and the fridge is stocked with cheese, tomatoes and eggs. Chefs kiss. Marion was so helpful, kind and easy to get a hold of. I would stay here again in an instant!

Gorgeous place in a great location. The host was lovely and very helpful. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and having the kitchenette was convenient.

We were prepared for the stairs - but they are definitely a consideration if anyone has mobility issues.

Our group of 4 (2 couples) loved having the apartment to come back to after a day exploring Amsterdam. It is impeccable, comfortable, modern and nicely decorated. Marion is absolutely the best host! You will want for nothing. Breakfasts are ample and delicious. If she hasn’t already anticipated your needs and offered to assist, she will respond immediate to any requests. We stayed 5 days and would have loved to stay longer. One thing to note regarding the steps: yes, there are 4 flights of stairs to reach this amazing property. BUT in our opinion, they are much easier than many stairs we’ve encountered in other buildings. Why? Because they are carpeted (not stone or wood) and there is a long landing at the top of each flight that allows you to catch your breath if needed (see photo).
