The location of the hotel was perfect, walking distance to anywhere in the city center. It was right next to a tram station and the airport bus station. The room was a good size for 2 people, loved the A/C, the mini fridge, and the shower was hot. The room with the balcony looked out into a peaceful courtyard. Also, the elevator was wonderful so we didn't have to climb the steep stairs. A lot of the hotels in this city don't have elevators so this is a really convenient feature of the hotel if you can't climb stairs easily.

Overall the room was quiet because it was facing the inner courtyard, but you could very easily hear the guests above with any step they took.

I loved having a balcony in my room -- not so much for the view (of a bunch of garages and other buildings), but or the birdsong and fresh air. There was an elevator! I was able to store my luggage while I ventured out after I checked out of the hotel. The front door and room door use keypads for entry and so are very secure. The air conditioning worked very well. The shower had great water pressure, and the room was larger than most I've had in Europe. The room had a kettle, and coffee and tea packets, as well as a mini-refrigerator. It was located in a great area near museums, the canals, great coffee places, and wonderful restaurants, as well as transportation (tram, bus) that could take you throughout Amsterdam and from and to the airport.

I would've liked to have more convenient outlets in the room (I had to reach behind the bedside table).

I loved the location. It’s still in the quiet Oud West section but reasonably close to main attractions. I also like the aesthetic look of the hotel and how it’s kinda like a boutique style. I was only looking for a bedroom and bathroom, which was the perfect size. I also like how each room has a refrigerator, which I used every day throughout my stay.

I was a bit misled between the standard room and deluxe room, which was partially my fault since we booked this place on a whim so that we had complete privacy. I wished my room had a balcony.

The hotel is located in a nice neighbourhood. There’s a tram stop and a convenience store within a 5-minute walking distance. There are frequent GVB trams to the Amsterdam Central Station which was very convenient.

When we arrived, the door was closed with a sign that asked to try the other door which we never found. No one answered when we called the desk. It took quite some time before we rang the doorbell and we were let in. That wasn’t a welcoming reception. But the duty staff at other times were friendly and helpful.

First, the room was spacious and we were given a room with a Balcony access which you can view the canals of Amsterdam. Second, it’s budget friendly and the property location is just almost in the City Center. Third, if you are a back packer, then you wouldn’t bother yourself bringing towel and lots of shower stuff as this Hotel offers daily change of towels and room service and the Shower amenities like shower soap and shampoo are of good quality.

Nothing. The stay went very good. If you are a sensitive or prone allergy individual, then you might have a problem with carpeted floors(which this Hotel has).

Location of the hotel is perfect and it's really easy to get there from the airport by bus No 397. Staff is very kind and helpful. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and towels were soft. The door of hotel room seems really thin because you can hear everything that is going on behind your door (for example room cleaning or other neightbours entering there room), but it wasn't too much disturbing. Breakfast was not available, but there are so many cafeterias nearby that you won't miss the hotel breakfast. By the way, Lidl is just a 3 minute walk from the hotel, so it is really convenient to bring some snacks and wine to your hotel room to enjoy ;) The price of the hotel, location and quality is good, that I would recommend this hotel to my friends as well :)

A small hotel just off a main street. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was great, not right in the centre but easily walkable to most parts. Trams very close by & easy to use. Beds were comfortable. Didn't have b'fast so can't comment on food. Would definitely use again if re-visiting Amsterdam. Suited us perfectly, close to museum quarter.

The stairs are very steep with narrow treads but we did know that before arriving. There was a lift to get luggage up to our 3rd floor room. We'd got used to the stairs by the time we left but for someone less fit they could prove tricky. A plug for the wash basin would have helped so we didn't feel we were wasting water

Nice location, cozy room. Balcony was a plus. Friendly staff. Really clean. The fridge was a plus.

The safety deposit box was broken, and did not get repaired even though I mentioned about it. It was possible to leave the bags in the hotel for a few hours after checkout, not in a locked space but in a communal area, the hotel door was locked but the other guests could have taken our luggage... Poor water pressure in the shower. We requested for a room on a higher floor, got one on the second floor.

Location

Our mattress was broken on day 1 (6 night stay) and we asked on multiple nights if it could be changed and they said there were no spares. All they did was flip the mattress and after a day it was the same issue. Made it a terrible sleeping experience. Dripping occurred from the ceiling that we notified staff about who did fix the issue. Tiles in the shower came loose.

We found this Hotel on short notice when our flight leaving Amsterdam was cancelled. We were very happy with the room considering we had very little time to research hotel or the area. The location was great and close to many restaurants. We found some activities within walking distance to keep us busy while we waited for our flight to be rescheduled. The hotel staff was very accommodating and helpful. We did not try out the breakfast they offered so cannot provide any comments on that.

The room we had was quite small compared to North American standards that we are used to. We didn't spend much time in the room as result as we preferred to be out and exploring the area and Amsterdam in general.
