I excepted the worst given some other reviews, but my experience was excellent. The staff were perfectly pleasant, the room was small and simple, but very clean and tidy. The hotel was also in a great location, so all in all, I am quite happy with my stay!

The walls were a bit thin, so I would occasionally hear people out in the hall. But it didn’t bother me at all.

I was so worried after reading the reviews I nearly cancelled. So glad I didn't cancel! OK so its not 5 star luxury dubai Hotel, but its perfectly acceptable for a couple of nights stop for sightseeing! Staff were friendly, room was clean and comfortable. Ok the shower was a bit silly but just work around it. Best part of my trip was the beautiful resident cat who was so sweet. Will be returning again in a few months 😁 ideal location and tram going into centre of Amsterdam every few minutes

A side lamp would of been useful. Also my patio door was locked so it did get a bit warm. Thats it really

Cheap compared to other private rooms with toilet and bathroom. Good/large window that could be opened right up. Helpful staff that let me leave my bag well before the check in time. Clean room. Location was nice and it was quiet (my room faced away from the street)

It wasn't a problem for me but the bathroom layout is very poor and the toilet is basically under the sink so you are hitting the basin when you sit down on the toilet. The mattress also wasn't quite the right size for the bed so it kept slipping off a little bit. No table in the room to put items/clothes/etc either.

The bed was very big, we had the room downstairs 1, it was a good room because of the location and the fact we didnt have to climb ub all the stairs. The room was also very big and the shower looked clean and nice.

We found underwear of the previous guest, that was a bit disgusting

Close to the city centre, with a nearby tram stop that gets you to Amsterdam Centraal station. Surrounded by all kinds of services. Quaint old building. Clean.

The mattress was too thin.

Great location and good value. (Also a beautiful cat!) Staff were friendly, decor was reasonably modern. It was everything I needed for the type of visit I had to Amsterdam

My room was next to the elevator which made it quite noisy! But luckily the other guests weren’t out too late! It was quite hot so I can imagine some form of air conditioning in the height of summer would be appreciated by guests.

The bed was very comfortable and the space was more than adequate.

the shower didnt have a closed door and therefore the water went everywhere causing the bathroom to get very wet. the water also went all over the bathroom floor and would not drain properly

The location is excellent, and for the price I paid, I couldn't have asked for more. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the bathroom, although small, was really good: a spacious shower with hot water and good pressure. There was also a very cute and friendly cat, I loved seeing it every day. I would certainly come back.

The elevator is very slow and noisy, but very necessary for luggage. If a guest would use the elevator late at night it would wake me up. It is best to use the very steep and very narrow stairs - which is very common for Amsterdam! I would not bring my grandmother to this hotel but it was OK for me. The room was small but I didn't care since I spent all day outside.

Friendly staff clean room nice facilitys luggage can be dropped off at the register all day on check out and check in day.

No proper cabin in the shower so the whole bathroom gets wet when u take a shower.
