The area was really close to the centre for the price, the beds were comfortable It was such good value for our stay over the 4 nights and we also had late check in at around 11pm and that gave us piece of mind for late arrival. All in all it was a great stay with really friendly and helpful staff.

The only think that we disliked was the room service it was great and the room was really clean and comfortable I would have just preferred if the room service was optional so we could decline on one of the days if we wanted too.

My 20 year old son and I came over the overnight Harwich/Hook of Holland ferry and wanted a hotel for one night only. The Titus is a budget hotel situated in an attractive area (overlooking one of the canals) and in fairly close proximity to cafes and restaurants, etc. It is the opposite end of the city centre to the railway station and thus a 45-minute brisk walk (albeit through attractive and interesting parts of the city) if you don't want to incur taxi costs. Our hotel room had an ensuite, was clean, and perfect for our needs. Would recommend if on budget or to someone who is more interested in seeing the sights rather than spending time in a hotel room or lounge with all the frills.

It wasn't an issue for us at all, but we had to navigate a very long and steep staircase (with narrow stair tread) to get to the land where our room was located. Could be an issue for anyone elderly or with mobility impaired. If so, then you may want to check whether there is a lift (couldn't see one) or go for a ground floor room. Also, it would have been nice to have tea making facilities in room - being English, we love our tea first thing in the morning and late at night!😁

The hotel is next to all the accommodations in Amsterdam you can go just by walking. The customers on reviews are complaining about cleanliness, for me it was good and the room service is available under request. They also have coeffe machine next to the desk.

I am removing one star for the alcoholic and high guests who was next to my room. *SARA* i guess, if you are reading my comments you and your friends are impolite and drunky. When you get drunk be quite a little but and respect your neighbours you aren’t the only one on this planet

Everything was great. Stairs are steep so if you struggle with stairs it might be difficult, but a lot of Amsterdam hotels have steep staircases.

Bathroom was a little small and the surroundings of the shower could have been cleaner The stairs! lol wasnt expecting steep stairs, hard to go up with a carry on luggage

Excellent location, comfy beds, towels changed everyday. Beds made everyday. The view was 10/10. The fan was great. Yes we were on the 4th floor and there were a lot of stairs but I knew that before I booked and this was in my price range so I will not mark them down for that at all.

The room was a little on the small side but had everything we needed.

The hotel is perfectly located. Outside the old town, but 10-15 min walking distance from it, and also from the museum's area. Also surrounded by very interesting neighborhouds with excellent restaurants, cafés and bars. It's not the cheapest option, but Amsterdam is not cheap, and, is one of the cheapest you can get based on the location for a private room. So, very good price/location/quality ratio. The room was also very illuminated and comfortable.

I would have wanted to know beforehand that the hotel has 4 floors and it's only with stairs. For me personally this was not a problem, but this is very important information for certain persons. Other than that, everything was very good.

It is in a very pretty, central location in Amsterdam and you get all you need for an affordable price. The rooms were clean, bed was comfortable, staff were friendly and there is a tram stop right around the corner as well as many places to eat etc! There was also a sink in my room which I really appreciated.

My only real complaint was how easily I could hear all the sounds around me. I woke up a lot from sounds coming from the hallway or outside. The building is most likely quite old and there just is a lot of (air) traffic around this area so it is very hard for the hotel to improve this so I do not blame them but maybe something to consider if you are a very light sleeper and want to stay somewhere longer.
