Great small hotel. I had a room with 2 bunk beds. Would have been cramped with 2 people but bonus each bed has it’s own TV. Very small desk but adequate space to 2 people’s carry-on size bags, safe in room. Excellent air conditioning. The breakfast was nice. Lost bars and restaurants in the Leidsplein area about 5 min walk from Krisotel. Location is very good. #2 and #12 tram lines run to/from Amsterdam Centraal and and the #7 will get you back form the museum quarter (stops within 200-300 m).

Location: away from the hustle and bustle of the city center but still very accessible. Lots of attractions nearby as well. Toilet: Walk in toilet! Happy to have more space in the toilet despite the room being a "double" room only. Free coffee, water and some juice in the lobby. Staff: Pleasant, attentive and helpful. We asked for a hair dryer as ours stopped working and we got one the moment we return to the hotel. No questions asked. Thank you.

The square pillows. Maybe it's just us but it would have made a huge difference if it was the regular size pillow or the hotel size pillows.

Small hotel, 4 floors with 8 rooms each. Ideally situated close to Leidseplein and public transport, walking distance to Museum-district. I had a room at the backside, which is really quiet (on the frontside of the hotel, there is a road with a tramway). As in many hotels in A'dam, room is fairly small, but still convenient. Good bathroom/shower, and clean! Excellent breakfast (hot & cold) - friendly staff

Staircase to upper floors is very steep, recommended to use the elevator at all times

The breakfast offered a standard selection that combined elements of both British and Continental styles, which was appreciated. Housekeeping ensured the room was cleaned daily, contributing to a comfortable stay. While the hotel itself, including my single room, was quite compact, the excellent location made up for it. It was conveniently situated just a short 200-metre walk from tram lines 2, 12, and 17, making it easy to explore the area as well as connect to Amsterdam Central and surrounding neighborhoods.

The rooms face a somewhat busy street, and there is a bar directly across from the hotel that operates late into the night. This occasionally led to some noise disturbances, which may be worth considering for light sleepers.

the staff was excellent and very kind, the hotel was small but cozy, seemed very modern and the bathrooms were very nice and looked to be recently renovated. there is a free to use coffee machine in the small lobby and plenty of tables to have a quiet morning coffee and breakfast (that they also offer) the hotel is very close to all the touristy spots, only a short 5 minute walk to many shopping areas or tram stations to get to other areas. overall our stay was excellent ❤️

the only thing we did not plan for is that there was no mini fridge in the room, that wasn’t a big problem though as the staff can store it for you in their fridge, with your room number on the bag so it won’t get lost :)

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was perfect! Very close to Leidsleplein and all trams you could need.

The AC seemed to turn on by itself and came on at 26.5 degrees one morning. We set it lower but it continued to blow out hot air making the room very uncomfortable.

Lovely cosy hotel with what looked to be newly and excellently decorated rooms and en-suites. Our receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The hotel's location is perfect for Amsterdam. There are street's of restaurants and bars and shops starting within a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Also tram stops just outside. Centrum is just a 15/20 minute walk or a very economical short tram ride. It was very hot weather when we were there and the air conditioning was perfect for this. We were unfortunately only staying for one day/night on our way home from a holiday but we said we would definitely return to Amsterdam again for a longer stay and would definitely return to the Krisotel. As we stayed for the one night we took the option of one of the "Small double rooms" which was ideal. Next time for a longer stay we will choose a larger room if there is one available. One wont find better value in Amsterdam.

My stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! The location is perfect, very central, and with public transport just steps away, making it super easy to explore Amsterdam. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even more special. A big thank you for the wonderful surprise they arranged for my mother’s birthday – we found a box of chocolates, a bottle of wine, and a lovely message wishing her a happy birthday. It was such a memorable gesture! The room was very comfortable, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for our four-day stay. Breakfast was delicious and varied, and we loved having access to coffee, cappuccinos, tea, and other hot drinks throughout the day. Overall, an experience that exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

Location is excellent, handy for trams, walking distance to attractions and excellent restaurants and bars, shops etc. Staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. My daughter was unwell as we were checking out and, as we had a late flight, they found us a small room at a low cost so she could sleep until we left for the airport that night. We were all hugely grateful. Beds were v comfortable and rooms spotlessly clean.

Air con/heating was a bit hit & miss , luckily we had a window to open in our room and it was still quiet enough to sleep but my daughters' room was quite stuffy (admittedly I knew it was a basement room on booking so no window)

We were upgraded to a room with 4 beds as the one with two was no longer available. It was a spacious room with nice amenities (hair dryer, coffee machine and bottled water, liquid soap and shampoo), fantastic two-headed shower, a good storage shelf and hooks, desk, chair, 24-hour coffee/tea/espresso in lobby, and a luggage room to enable us to see the town after checkout without e was outstanding for the price, which was half the cost of the nearby properties. Also, it is very convenient to transit lines. Great location!

Be forewarned: There is an elevator to the floors with the rooms but there is a half-flight of steps to reach the front desk from the street and two or three steps to reach our room, # 38, and two more to get into the bathroom. The hallways and doors could use a cosmetic refresh, but the lobby lounge/breakfast room is very nice.
