Super cool themed hotel with attentive staff that gave great recommendations for group of friends traveling to Amsterdam. Cute and fun lobby bar area with pool table and free welcome drinks. Basement room with shared bathroom was clean with sink in the room as a perfect touch. Small windows and fan helped with hot summer temperatures and beds were very comfortable and clean.
Stairs are super narrow and difficult to maneuver especially with luggage but can manage with railing and only flight into basement.!

We stayed here for one night during a short trip to Amsterdam. The location is perfect, the atmosphere is really charming with lots of cool little details, and the staff was super friendly. Everything looked clean and well-kept. However, a few hours after we checked out, my husband developed bite marks on his back that looked like bedbug bites. We contacted the hotel, and they were very responsive — they checked the room and said they found no signs of bugs. We can’t say for sure the bites came from the hotel, but we didn’t sleep anywhere else on the trip. Just something to keep in mind. Otherwise, we really enjoyed the stay.

The stuff is incredibly friendly. The location is excellent, you just have to walk 15-20 minutes to be in the heart of the town, or 10 minutes to Jordaan. The Vondelpark is at 5 minutes walk also. The vibe in the hotel is also very nice, with musical instruments and music related things all around you.
The price is relatively high, but that’s a fact in Amsterdam. The room was really really small. Don’t even have space to store the luggage for two. It was clean, but not very clean. And maybe another minus for the stairs, but this is also common everywhere in Amsterdam.

The whole vibe of the hotel exudes cool 😎 All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Housekeeping were amazing, our room was spotless. The breakfast was very tasty using fresh produce. Close to a large array of restaurants and cafes. Was a little out of the centre, we walked everywhere and it would take us about 20/25 mins to reach Dam Square. There are trams and bus stops close by to take you into the centre throughout the day if you don’t want to walk. We Would definitely stay again .
Shower room was small. On the plus side though, it was a private en suite and fully functioning.

The staff was amazing all throughout, breakfast was very yummy and made with love. It was absolut value for money and a cute special place. Rooms were small but tidy n fully ok for a night or two....just for lightsleepers it might be bit tough as it was directly at the road with the Tram...but even for that they were prepped with a big jar of earplugs:-)) The location (except for the Tram - we stayed in the first floor so further up it might have been better) was absolut amazing and there were connection towards every place in Amsterdam you probably would like to go.
Soundproof of rooms...was the only small.minus point.

Everything! Great location near music venues in Leidseplein, small bar in the hotel to meet people. Comfortable rooms, not spacious but large enough. I really appreciated that there are also sinks inside the rooms with shared bathrooms, makes life so much easier. Breakfast was also very good. The staff were really friendly, I talked to 5 people and everybody was super nice (especially Delfina and Vinz). Thanks again for everything!
The stairs are... an experience. I was pretty sure I would fall down at some point, but you do get used to it after a few times.

- the staff was absolutely lovely ; excellent communication online and offline, lovely attitude, great sense of humour. - the room was great, everything was clean and the unique look of the place definitely added to its charm - perfect location to walk everywhere because it's close to everything - stable WiFi - great breakfast
- the walls are a little thin, so if you're sensitive to noise, that's definitely something to take into account - the stairs are extremely steep ; if you have any kind of handicap, you might want to reconsider your stay, as there is no elevator (You should text them on the app about it though, because I didn't ask if they had anything in place for disabled people)

Very friendly helpful staff, what’s app contact before checking in so I could ask where I could park the car . Good value room considering the great location . The two of us had a three bed room for 140 euros. Clean, comfortable beds. Quiet. Shower in the room. Perfect for our 1 night stay- we only needed a place to sleep- we were out all day and in the evening. I would not really stay in the hotel if you want to lounge in your room and are staying a couple of days. Because -our room at least- had quite dark walls. The whole room was in the theme of Herman Brood - fun design details like a drum as a ceiling lamp.
I didn’t mind -but it might be important for you to consider: the stairs up to the room are very steep!

The hotel's location is right in the heart of Amsterdam. You can easily reach it by bus from the airport in a single ride. From the hotel, you can quickly access all areas of Amsterdam by tram (and if the weather is nice, you can even walk to the Museum Square). There are restaurants from every world cuisine, coffee shops, pubs, breakfast buffets, and most importantly, a market, all nearby. The decoration of the hotel was unique, and especially if you listen to heavy metal or rock music, you will love it here. The hotel had drum-shaped lamps, saxophone lights, a guitar case-shaped makeup mirror and wardrobe, and wall paintings, all of which were very charming. The staff was very friendly and helpful. At the hotel reception, there was a pickup and records, which you could take to your room and enjoy music in a nostalgic way. Since we ate out, I can't comment on the breakfast, but the coffee was good. From the hotel's window, you can enjoy the classic view of Amsterdam and watch the canal. Smoking is not allowed in the hotel, so it didn't have a bad smell. The hotel is located in one of Amsterdam’s classic houses, so it’s a bit small, and the stairs are very steep; if you arrive with large luggage, it might be difficult to carry it up. We stayed in a double room, so we had a private bathroom. In single rooms, guests share a common bathroom, but it was very clean. Our room was cleaned every day, the bed was made, and the towels were replaced. Overall, we were very satisfied and want to thank the entire hotel team. When we visit Amsterdam again, we will definitely choose you again. Best regards.
