Anna was great! Very kind and helpful. Location was perfect although the booking.com description said the room had a canal view and it didn’t. Otherwise, the room was spacious and clean. Nice kitchen area. Would have made a good longer term rental - wish I had stayed past the weekend. Rented a bike from the property to get around town and it worked out well.

Only drawback - the shower alternated between scalding hot and freezing cold no matter how I turned the knobs. The stairs are scary - especially with baggage. I’m nursing a wounded knee/leg, and I held onto both railings ascending and descending every time.

I really enjoyed the authentic period of this 17th century building. There of course is no lift, but for me that added to the authenticity of this beautiful buildings age. The stairs are steep, and skinny because they were built when people were 5ft tall! And they have to raise you up 12ft in each floor. This added to experience for me. Breakfast was completely adequate. Staff friendly and very helpful. The location is fantastic, east stroll to eat and shop and tram. We had a corner room with a view of the canal and double doors to a balcony. I absolutely loved this!

I happened to get the one bed out of three, that is probably due to be replaced.

I liked how close by it was to all the places I wanted to visit. The bed was nice and comfy and the room was all that it needed to be. Had my own en suite which was cleaned everyday; new towels and my bed made which was really nice. Reception staff were always friendly and eager to help with any questions or problems, very knowledgeable about the area. Taylor was especially helpful and always greeted me with a smile. He was very genuine and remembered the small things from previous conversations.

I had no issues with the property, as I said before it was exactly what I needed and wanted out of a room because I was out exploring all day.

We've stayed at the Quentin many times before so know it's in the perfect location for us. The rooms are lovely since the refurbishment. The addition of a kettle to the room was great for me. Staff were friendly and happy to help. We like that you can return to the hotel any time using your room key on the front door.

Something to be aware of- if you use a Monzo card for the holding deposit it seems to take the 100 euros off rather than pending. This has not happened previously when using a credit card or other bank cards. It was back in the account the day after we checked out.

Brilliant location, close enough to walk to everything within 2 minutes to 35 minutes tops. i.e., red light district, zoo, museums, parks, bars, and restaurants. polite staff, they were happy for us to leave our luggage throughout the day while we explored after checking out, which was a massive help. good brochures for visitors to look at for local things to do, they came in very handy, and we found many activities we wouldn't have usually thought of.

We were on the 4th floor and had no lift. The stairs are extremely steep and pretty small to place your feet on. It was a challenge after a few drinks, to say the least 😅.. The room was fine, but due to the weather being hot outside, we found it very difficult to cool the room down in the evening, even with a fan on all day.

Hotel room was very clean and comfortable. It had a private bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities. We didn’t try the breakfast so can’t comment on this. Location is great, with lots of shops and restaurants close by. Within walking distance to most sightseeing attractions.

The only negative comment is that we were on the 3rd floor and the lift/ elevator was out of order for the duration of our stay. The stairs to each floor are very narrow and steep ( which is the case in most properties in Amsterdam), however, this could have been a major problem for someone with mobility issues.

Incredible room with great view and 3 beds. Perfect for the family of 3. The lady at reception was so helpful. Best location with tram station just a min away. We came back to hotel after sight seeing around 11pm and it was still well crowded.

Nothing as such. However it would have been great to have a lift as the stairs are too small. But it's not a major issue since most of the hotels in central Amsterdam are pretty much having same stairs.

Incredible value for money. I read some very negative reviews, but we were delighted with the hotel. You can pay many hundreds of Euros for a canal view. This one was a reasonable price!! We paid a little more to move for a room with a canal view and it was lovely. Old building with character. Beds were super comfortable, breakfast was huge and staff couldn’t have been nicer. Friendly and helpful.

Stairwells and corridors could use a lick of paint, but they WERE clean.

Hotel was close public transport such as the trams which made it easy to get around, close to fast food and great restaurant’s and also had lots of shops near by. Hotel was constantly hot from heating being on but a fan was provided in our room anyways which helped. Our room was a canal view double view was great.

I have stayed in this hotel before one the top floor and needed to use the lift, this time the lift was out of order for our stay but our room was located at the top of only one flight of stairs we were glad not to walk up more though.

Fantastic experience! The hotel is ideally located, allowing easy access to everything the city has to offer. The staff were courteous and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay. My room was modern, clean, and comfortable, providing a perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The overall ambiance of the hotel was inviting and made me feel right at home. I would definitely stay here again in the future.
