A nice new hotel in a quiet and peaceful area near the sea promenade. The good restaurant and sky bar with a stunning sea view and terrace. The Wi-Fi is not so fast, but it is stable. The room had a bottle of water and a coffee machine with capsules. The air conditioning worked well, and the windows could be opened for ventilation. The bed was comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. A grocery supermarket is a 5-minute walk away.

A few minor remarks: There is no refrigerator in the room. The breakfasts are a bit modest for the price offered. During our stay, the tram tracks were under repair, so getting to the central station required a transfer and took about 30–35 minutes. This is not the hotel’s fault, just something to keep in mind when traveling.

The most impressive was the wonderful breakfast! Great variety of choices, very tasty food especially the croissants and fried eggs which brings an energetic kick off of a day. The closing time was supposed at 11am but they didn't push the guests to leave which gave me enough chill time. Very friendly and helpful staff, 24/7 check-in process, act as a helpful guide. One restaurant staff has made me a coffee even it was closed from breakfast. I had a request for a taxi call service from the hotel front staff quite some last minute, which was pretty rush but they even wait me at the lobby and gave me a bid farewell. The room was spacious and comfort, with a great sea view. The bed was very large, and the air-con was very cold enough. I like the surroundings of the hotel, schools, neighbours, and the yachts, which created the quiet but cosy atmosphere. The morning walk from the hotel to the tram station was very enjoyable. Easily accessible by the tram 26 from the Amsterdam Centraal station with just 20-25mins, and followed by approx 8 mins walk.

I have requested a quiet room but you can still heard some talkings outside the window at the night. Have to be aware of the last tram from Centraal to the Ijburg station. The room rate was a bit costly but still worth everything.

A very nice hotel with a perfect location for my needs. The room was clean and tidy, there was enough space and furniture for my belongings, and I appreciated that you could turn on the lights only in the parts of the room where you needed them. Not being in the city center was a great bonus for me - no crowds, easy access to trams and buses, easy to get to/from the airport, nice surroundings, several supermarkets and cafes around.

It would help to have a short printed explanation on how to use the shower that was half-electronic and half-physical (you had to press a sensor button to turn on the upper shower, yet you needed to turn the handle physically to switch the shower off). The beds were soft, but there was an anti-leakage sheet right under the bed sheet, which made my back a bit sweaty during my sleep, which wasn't very comfortable. Plus, it would be amazing to have an adjustable magnifying mirror in the bathroom since the main one is pretty far away when you stand near the sink, so I had to put my makeup on in the corridor.

Location has pluses and minuses: the location is out of the mainstream which could be considered a plus for lack of congestion. The minuses are lack of restaurants in the immediate area. The tram pickup is fairly near and the end of line is convenient for boarding and returning. The rooms provide decent views; some better than others.

The rooms (like most of Europe) are rather small despite the appearance/photos on the website. The bathroom light stays on far too long after motion detection is activated and you depart the room. (15 minutes or more)

They just have 26 places for the car park if u have a car you have to park outside the hotel from 7 pm until 9 am it will be free parking and if you want to park ur car in the hotel u have to wait some one to check out to take his park and also the park off the hotel they charge you a money maybe 28 € pair a day.. and the room was very hot and the bed to much small

I booked the stay for my parents, my mom had birthday. the employees were going above and beyond to help my parents to find a room that works for them (diabled, overweight). And they sang in the morning for my Mom at her birthday - it made her very happy. thank you !! Extra thanks to Mohammed, Emma and Cosmas

The disability room has only 140 wide beds - for two people with disabilities (and with that being overweight as they cannot do sports) the bed is way too small. The staff were helpful to find another room for parents as they didn't fit in.

Four Elements hotel is a very nice place to stay. Close to some nice restaurants, and easy to get away from there. The restaurant downstairs is nice as well. To rooms are great.

I had some issues with adding breakfast. The first day i got a rate of 19 Euroos, the second day it was suddenly 23 Euroos. I asked why it was like that. The staff dealing with the breakfast told me to check this with reception... why? He could do for me. He only could tell me that this is what it costs... Thats not what I wanna hear.

The breakfast variety and quality was great, truly great! However the website quotes 21 eur, but staff charges 23.50 per person. Perhaps including it to the room price at 20 would attract more customers. Also, please offer lunch only if you have capacity / staffing. One of the afternoons, several tables asked for a soup of the day that was on the menu, but our waiter stated that the kitchen can not locate soup?

A few little things, Room amenities, such as refilling shampoo bottles and hand soap during the stay. Ensuring the shower head and shampoo bottles are safely fastened.

Great location with staff that go above and beyond for their guests. We took a bus to the hotel and found that the location was convenient. The check-in process was smooth and we had a comfortable hotel room. Very quiet, clean and comfortable facilities. Would highly recommend. We will be staying here again in the future.

It was a bit cold in our room. We turned the temperature up but it didn´t seem to do much. Another blanket would have been nice, but we were not freezing or anything. Overall a great experience.

If you travel with a big suitcase , the walk from tram station can be a challenge…
