The place is located in the historical center of Assen. It's close to all the restaurants but it's still very quiet and the rooms are quite spacious. The train station is less than 10 minutes away on foot. Breakfast is brought to the room in a trolley and you can enjoy it at your own pace. The best part was the kindness of the hosts, they were so welcoming and helpful. They have that humanity and empathy that you don't really see in the Randstad nowadays.

The only problem I had was with the pillows. There are two types, and one was too thin for me, and the other one was too thick, so it wasn't the most comfortable situation for my neck. It would be nice if they could be adjusted somehow.

Fantastic bed & breakfast in the picturesque town of Assen. Check-in was easy and the room was perfect. We visited for a friends wedding, held at the Drents Museum, and the location of the B&B was ideal, as it was right across from the museum. Would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Assen!

We were made most welcome by our host Monique. The location in Assen was perfect being right in the middle of the town with the Market and weekend activity. Easy to access walking in the woods. We enjoyed hearing about the area’s history from our host. We would definitely return if the opportunity arises.

My inbound flights were badly delayed and I was not able to reach the property until 11pm at night. Even though the owners had to stay up late at night, they were nevertheless very happy to assist with the very late check-in. Top marks for customer service!! The room was gorgeous, the bed great and breakfast the best. A sensational experience, I hope to be back soon!!

It is a really nice house, the owners are really friendly and welcoming, the location is really good in a lovely neighborhood with lot's of shops and restaurants just a very short walk away.

Nothing, would definitely recommend and would look forward to going back again.

Beautiful stay! Directly next to the museum, comfy bed, despite being a 30° day the room was cool even without a fan or AC. The breakfast delivered to my door in the morning was beautiful. Hosts were extremely hospitable and helpful.
