The room was clean and tidy. Simple and not fussy. I had access to a roof terrace from the room. There is a large car park. I arrived by motorcycle and it was nice to be able to park close to the building. The hosts were friendly and spoke English to me. The restaurant is a nice room, with views over a pond. I was offered a menu in English, which was a nice touch. The food was superb. Very good quality, well prepared and presented. The staff were friendly and helpful. The dining experience was excellent. Breakfast was table service and was nicely done, with a good selection. I will stay here again for sure. There are only 8 rooms here. Which meant the hosts recognised me each day and greeted me. Did I mention the food was great? It really was.

Proper continentel breakfast mixt bread plenty off cheese and ham boiled eggs juice coffee or tea I have no complaints . Husband only likes White bread and not crusty rolls but you can’t win them all😆nice walking to lots off wooded areas , bus stop just outside the hotel in to the town’s and city off Leeuwarden not expensive good value.

really friendly hotel we keep going back to. Great staff superb food and peaceful location but still within reach of towns etc. oh and food superb- especialy the dover sole!

a party was going on downstairs under our room -very loud. However it stopped at 11.00

Everything from check in to check out was great. The food and drink offer was superb and the location just fabulous. We will definitely stay here again.

This is an absolutely charming little inn. The staff was extremely friendly and even provided me with a dinner menu written in English. Dinner and breakfast were both exceptional and it was lovely to be met by the proprietor in the morning.

Clean and tidy The beds are comfortable.

It is 40 degrees in the room A small fan and a small window will not allow air to enter the room. Breakfast very weak.

I loved that it was in the middle of the country. The restaurant was the best food I had all week in Netherlands and I’d been to Amsterdam and Leiden.

Clean & comfortable room ; good wifi ; and tasty breakfast but most of all : very friendly staff => nice stay , I'd recommend.

It was very good from start to finish, service, cheerfulness, friendliness and quality of food. A most enjoyable stay. Worth repeating. They understand hospitality very well and excel in a consistent customer focused approach within the team.
