studio for 3 people with kitchen, kitchen was perfect, everything necessary available, staff really great ( friendly and willing to help). bed was fine. nice little garden.

Cleanliness could be improved. ( yellow cushion sheet for example, lot of flies in the room without obvious reason ) No airconditioning, if it is hot in summer you can choose between leaving the doors to the garden open if you are not afraid or not sleeping because of the heat. little expensive in comparison to other hotels

This was our last stay for the week in Holland. And what a perfect spot to be. We biked the Alkmaar and we had dinner watching the sunset. Me and my daughter thought this was a perfect ending for our journey to The Netherlands.

There was nothing we did not like. The staff were amazing and very helpful, and made us feel very welcome. If I can bring my family back here I will Beautiful place and people.

The view was of fields and a shallow lake. The beach was 500 m away over the dunes. I wish we could have stayed longer. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. Typically Dutch.

I tried to choose somewhere with a restaurant as I have mobility issues and we didn’t want to drive at night. The restaurant was 400 meters away.

The location is great, very close to the beach. The reception staff( mainly the owner) are very very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is an order affair, and was tasty. An electric loading station is available.

The rooms are fairly small and feel a bit cramped .

Beautiful cosy hotel in great location. Stones throw from beach. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. We ate in the sister restaurant which was really good with great service. Would go back to this hotel again. The rainforest shower in the room was a bonus

Had to drive or hire bikes to get to nearest shop but everything needed was in the hotel

Magic remote setting where the Dutch landscapes of Ruysdael meet the sea. A silent quiet place in winter. nice setting for the beach, for making walks and for birdwatching

The setting has a minor disadvantage: it is in a remote location away from shops and restaurants especially in winter

Perfect location close to the sea and dunes. Staff were very friendly, and accommodation comfortable.

Although we booked the family studio with 5 persons one mattress was missing, and towels were present for only 2 persons. After reporting this was quickly addressed and solved by the friendly personnel.

Excellent location: far from the bustle of the city, close enough to the sea, beautiful dunes, nice restaurant and man-made lagoon. Very good tasty breakfast from the local produce. Room pretty small, however ok as a place to sleep. Good wifi.

Room did not have air conditioner nor any other option for air circulation except the fully open balcony doors. The small opening above the balcony door was not enough to ventilate the room. Perhaps changing the duvet for summer one or providing lighter option (like a day cover or just a plain sheet) could be a good idea.

Close the the beach, nice walking trails nearby. I liked the breakfast. staff is friendly, late check-in was possible. the guy in the lobby took his time to explain the activities nearby and provided a map, which was really nice. The best thing was the showers in the bathroom, warm water for long time and nice rain shower head.

Room 25 has a birds nest and the birds like to wake you up with some noise in the morning:) I guess advantage for some people since you are close to nature and get the chance to see this beautiful bird.

Modern hotel in a very quiet and peaceful setting in the dunes. Beautiful view from the rooms into the seaside landscape and very close to the beach. Parking free on site.
