Location is great! So green, serene and calm, surrounded by nature. I loved staying there. The staff, very welcoming and helpful. This is always the most important part of any stay for me - the people. I loved the interior decor - a mix of traditional and contemporary. Very welcoming and cozy

The only snag was some very offensive smell that came from a nearby property (which is outside of Mooirivier's control) but it was still offensive. It marred the walking experience. I had to cover my nose to walk through that area. There is no refrigerator in the room.

A great place to escape from the city craziness to a place surrounded by nature. The hotel is quiet and offers few activities, could be romantic, and the breakfast is fantastic.

For a hotel that offers Spa services, I would expect the spa to be a bit more refined, with a broader range of options. The room design is quite basic, for 200+ euros per night, they could make it a fabulous boutique and chic hotel

It is a beautiful hotel in a tranquil rural area close to nearby towns. There are a lot of walking and cycling routes in the area. The hotel has a large free car park. The wellness area is free for guests and opens from 3 pm until 10 pm with a fantastic sauna, steam room and an infrared cabin. All the staff were really nice and helpful. Bicycles can be rented from the hotel.

There is no fridge in the room. A fan in the rooms would have been nice as it was very warm due to the hot weather.

Upon arrival, we received an upgrade, which is, of course, a warm welcome. Each time we went to the spa, it was empty—such luck with timing. The sauna was great, especially the IR sauna; the steam bath took a bit too long to get to temperature, so no luck there. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent, and so was the breakfast. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating.

The location was beautiful, the staff were very helpful and friendly, the food was excellent and the beds were very comfortable.

Dinner took a very long time - we had to wait over an hour before getting our first course. The staff that were available were working very hard but there clearly was not enough people to serve the number waiting to eat. The room was very hot.

Truly beautiful location for hotel looking out on the river. Room was very nice and bed was great. Restaurant was superb! Only planned on eating there one of our three nights but went back for second time as even though pricy was worlds better then local restaurants. Good storage for our bikes.

Choose the river room for the view but would request upper floor room next time. Our room was half underground and if you sat down you could not see out the window. Upper floors have larger windows. Weather was TOO nice so we didn’t stay much in the hotel, which was too bad as public areas were even nicer than room.

sauna and fitness studio are amazing. The hotel is placed in a beautiful scenery, near the river. Everything is new and clean. The air is fresh. The town is quiet. There is no cars. I could spend there a month. The hotel is everything you need.

I couldn't separate beds because the shelf on the wall is on a way. I had to move the second bed into the middle of the room.

The hotel itself is a prestigious resort situated on the bank of the Vechte river, in a quiet and pastoral place. You could reach many interesting places to visit in a half-an hour or an hour of driving.

The hotel is expensive, while the restaurant on site is expensive even more. There was no refrigerator in the room. Thogh the our room had a laminate floor (I hate carpeted floors), there was a carpet under the bed (why? who needs it?). For sure, that carpet isn't vacuumed properly and we noted this. The shower, though surrounded by a glass cabin, has one side partially open, and taking shower always finished in a paddle on the bathroom floor, outside the shower.

The location is really great and the dinner was phenomenal, we were really impressed. The beds are also good, nice matrass. And nice to have a sauna available, we used it.

The rooms are noisy, you easily hear the neighbors and the price for the breakfast is steep. The rooms feel a bit cheap compared to the rest (location, atmosphere, food).

Peaceful location. Wonderful garden. Swim in the river. Comfortable rooms. Excellent food. Friendly staff. Felt very welcome and at home. Perfect place for a peaceful and relaxing getaway

Stayed for a week and had diner every night. Excellent food, but often same menu.
