The Grounds: The grounds were beautiful and the restaurant had a very big outdoor seating space, some of which was covered and some of which wasn't. This let us have full control over how much we wanted to be in/outside. It was extremely quiet (not sure how some other reviewers were bothered by traffic noise - we had our window open and couldn't hear anything!) and so we could properly relax. Restaurant: The decor was amazing, and the afternoon/evening meals looked really good although we didn't eat them. The included breakfast was good, but it was the same every day and mostly featured breads/pastries and cold meats/cheeses. Staff: All of the staff were amazing! We spoke English and they spoke perfect English back to us, and they were always keen to make sure we were happy. The Room: The beds were amazingly comfortable and they had pillows available if you needed more or a different type. The room was clearly recently refurbished too which was nice. The bathroom was also very clean and clearly new. They also had coffee & tea facilities, but no breakfast tea provided so make sure to stop at Lidl on the way! The Room: We prefer not to have our room made up every day, and the cleaning staff left a "goodie bag" for us when we made this decision, with a full refresh of tea/coffee/cups and fresh towels, which was really appreciated! The Location: A 15 min walk from Duerne station made it easy to get about, and as the walk is literally a straight line it's very difficult to get lost!

The Room: No air con, which during a 30 degree week was not fun. They do provide a fan, but we (and other guests) had to resort to leaving our room doors open alongside the windows to get a breeze. Honestly putting air con in the rooms would make this a near-perfect hotel! The Room: There was no mini-fridge, and as we always purchase milk for tea before arriving this was disappointing; we had to use UHT milk. The Room: The shower had very low water pressure. This is personal preference mostly, and I think it's got something to do with the sheer size of the hotel so your mileage may vary. The Reception: The only way to get bottled water was a locked fridge by reception, and if you find yourself without a member of staff you'll have to wait for this; there's no self-serve.

My parents stayed here from England coming to visit family. They had a very early flight and therefore wanted to check in early, even though the hotel was fully booked the night before, the lovely lady at reception was able to get them into a room early with only a short wait (20 mins). Very kind staff, lovely location with beautiful grounds, bikes you could hire outside, lovely bar and restaurant inside. Overall great stay. Room was slightly on the smaller side but we didn't book one of the larger rooms, beds where comfortable and lovely walk in shower

Fletcher Kloosterhotel is a large converted monastery (a 'mission house'). We chose it largely because it is in a convenient location, but that said, it is a good hotel in its own right. It is spacious and clean, with very pleasant outdoor seating both in front of the hotel and in the cloister, in addition to the bar and restaurant areas. The menu looks a bit 'burger and chips' on first sight, but in fact, it is a cut above that - everything is a little bit special. The grounds are big enough to go for a short walk around, too. The car park is large and free. A very pleasant stopover location.

I was on the business trip, my client’s company is located in Netherland’s village Bakel & the choice of Fletcher Kloosterhotel Willibrordhaeghe was the great decision. Pleasant atmposhere of surroundings in the summer evening, the delicious burger with a tender beef & eggs ensured to me enough of relax before my business duties. Next day the meeting with client lasted longer than I expected & altough I still wasn’t checked out from my room, hotel’s staff were helpful & they found suitable solution for this issue. Great work.

We arrived so late we couldn’t take advantage of the facilities or have a look around even but it looked amazing and staff were super friendly. Breakfast doesn’t start until 8 on weekends and since we had paid up front for it they made us a packed lunch box to take with us in the morning. Excellent service. The room was lovely and comfortable and there was free coffee and tea

The place was really clean and has lots of parking space. The room was also very clean, and the beds were very comfortable.

It's not the first time this has happened in this hotel chain: I booked a hotel with an agreement to pay cash on the day of arrival. The price included all taxes (I have a screenshot). On the day of arrival, we were charged an extra 6 euros. I was very tired, so I didn't pay attention. However, later, when analyzing the bills, that extra 6 euros made me disappointed.

Beautiful building in a peaceful location. Lovely little touches reminding you of the monastery history. Staff were all really kind and welcoming.

The beds and pillows were not to my liking - totally subjective, I know! - but way too soft in my opinion. Also the bathroom seemed poorly designed - the open shower meant there was no way to avoid soaking the entire bathroom floor. Another place for improvement was the bar - closed very early, although I appreciate we were there out of season.

Location is great. Hotel was very good with a nice bar and restaurant. Breakfast was great. The rooms were very clean and spacious. All their staff was fantastic. Also their e-bikes were fantastic and fun to rent

The fire alarm went off twice in the middle of the night during our week we stayed. The alarm was super loud. That was very unfortunate and really annoying. They were very kind to give us free bikes for the day. Still hurt their rating some.

We booked in here on a last minute cheap deal at 9pm whilst travelling across the Netherlands, not really knowing what to expect. 15 minutes later we walked in to be greeted by a very friendly receptionist, who spoke perfect English. Especially given that we got such a good value deal, we were very impressed with this beautiful cloistered hotel with sophisticated, immaculate decor. The bar had great Belgian beers and a nice atmosphere with again, a very friendly barman. And the family room was two huge adjoining rooms and a great little en suite bathroom. Our only disappointment was that we had to leave at 7am and didn’t have time to explore the hotel and grounds!

The Restaurant was good

The room was freezing when we went into the room. Manual radiators. We booked on the day as was traveling back to the uk. Got there a bit early and was told that we couldn't book in until 15:00. Waited at the front for hours with 3 kids. noticed about 13:30 people stated to arrive. at 14:30 I asked them if our room was ready they said yes would have been nice to have been told when ready as we were all exhausted after a 14 hour drive :( which I told them on the time of arrival
