The sauna is amazing for a hotel. The location is great and despite the size of the hotel it was really quiet. Parking in the garage.

On your departure day you can use the hotel garage until 12.00 sharp!!! Make really sure you leave before 12.00 ...even just a couple of minutes late... and you're charged €20. You can't avoid bringing sand in your room as the hotel offers no means for cleaning your shoes. Unfortunately during my 5cday stay, the room was not once vacuum cleaned...which is a not good for a 4Star hotel. Everything else was very clean.

Hotel staff went over and above to change our booking to two rooms with connecting door. While we requested nearby rooms via booking app- this info didn’t get to reception staff so they changed bookings around to fulfil our needs once we got there. The hotel is very close to the sea and the town/shops- in fact we could see the sea from our balcony. Also rooms were big and nice bathrooms and showers/bath. Slightly dated decor in rooms but bathrooms modern and I still give top marks. Downstairs there is great pool, toddler play area and ten pin bowling as well as restaurants/pub. Breakfast was automatically included in cost and really nice buffet breakfast.

The hotels biggest advantage is that it has a lot of facilities: swimming pool, whirl pool, 5 saunas and one steambath. But also an Irish Pub, a brasserie and the main restaurant (buffet)... There's a billiard table, fitness center and apparently a squash hall. It is super conveniently located and has a parking garage. Parking was well organized - I could register my car number plate in advance and was able to park from 1pm onwards. They were strict about the room check-in time though. Not before 15.00. Considering you have to check out by 10:30 the next day- I find 3 check in rather late. Breakfast was just ok - products used seemed on the budget and basic side. Presentation was also quite uninspiring. I expected more for a hotel of that size and number of guests. The sauna costs 7.50 Euro - I think this is a fair fee. It's worth it. It's extremely rare to have a choice of 6 saunas in a hotel.

Rooms / furniture are outdated. The bathroom was ok - seemed newer than the bedroom.

Location in Egmond. Breakfast was outstanding. Rooms and public spaces were good but some parts could use some updating.

The hotel and rooms could use some updating. Other guests arriving (after partying) arrived after 2am being noisy in the corridors and on their balcony. Because there is no air conditioning, we left the windows open. But this of course exposed us to the noisy guests, their smoke and at times the staff taking breaks off the back-of-house spaces below. Maybe the hotel could remind guests the impact their bad behavior has on others. It cost them nothing but our experience and the value of an already expensive room were diminished.

The facilities are great and so was the staff. It's right at the beach and the city center. Free parking is offered in the garage (make sure that you reserve a space ahead of your stay).

This hotel is huge and aimed at families with children, so it's very lively and bussy. If this is not what you're looking for you may be a little dissapointed.

Location, 3 mins walk to town and 5 mins walk to beach ⛱️ , facilities is good .

The dinner buffet was quite expensive and does not have a wide variety. rice not cooked well and fish tasted bland. Also , you only get 1 round free drinks and had to pay extra for drinks. It would be good if drinks is included with the price and food is well seasoned and cooked.

Location is good. Train ride from Amsterdam for about 30-40 minutes followed by a bus ride from Alkmaar station for about 20-30 minutes. Bus stop is 1 minute walk from the hotel. Beachfront is about 5 minute walk. Food at restaurant is good. Facilities are great - there is a swimming pool (indoor) with sauna (additional charge). Breakfast was extensive as well. Staff were pleasant all the time. Check in and cheek out times are strict.

Rooms could be cleaner. Carpets in the hallways were dusty and spaces under beds were not vacuum cleaned properly. The temperature in rooms are higher than expected (it seemed that ventilation is not working well). We stayed just for one night so we did not notice any other things that could make us complain about.

A spacious room with balcony, sea peak, and a large bathroom. And the fans in the courtyard supplied us with the ambience of a long haul night flight.

The email regarding payment, which was taken care of by Booking.com caused nothing by disturbance and would not have been missed.

Excellent breakfast buffet included. Dinner buffet, paid extra for, also excellent and good value. Lovely pool. Good sea view from balcony. Great basement garage with lockable cycle storage. 🚲 all staff very helpful and professional. On the rainy morning we left on our bike the receptionist gave us 2 rain ponchos... so kind and much needed!

Everything went pretty well, we had a great room with a balcony and sunshine in the afternoon. Breakfast selection was excellent! The lady who checked us in was very helpful and looked after our request.

The coffee we made in the room, big mistake it was just awful tasted like vinegar… too bad cause everything else was great.
