This hotel is a real gem. Amazing staff, always friendly, nothing is ever too much trouble. Probably a better continental breakfast (with a nice selection of added warm items) then you could find in any 4 or even 5 star hotel. Always fresh and local products, Lunch and dinner is amazing too...booked out literally every service, which isn't really a surprise. So try and book.yourself.a.table !! Always busy, but staff are always smiling and attentive. The room (junior suite 103) was good as always, spacious, clean ,great shower and bath. Very large and comfy beds. And don't forget the location...bang in the middle of the dorpstraat, with free residents parking. 5 minutes walk to train station and a busstop around. the corner.

Nothing...just nothing to complain about here. It's a great place, down to earth, a proper home from home

The location is perfect for us having family in Elst but also the convenience of the train station, easy reach to Arnhem & Nijmegan. The hotel is above a lovely bar & restaurant but the room was far enough away that this didnt disturb us. Staff were friendly but discreet, breakfast was plentiful with a good choice. Room was clean but small - good shower & handy fridge. Elst is a very pretty town with a good range of shops & restaurants for its size!

We chose a standard room which was clean & comfortable but small. The noises from the adjoining room were very clear & unfortunately there was noise from snoring & TV through the night! If we return we may try an upgraded room - this didn't put us off! Mugs or cups would gave been nicer than paper cups but again this would not put us off a return visit.

Great location in the centre of very nice town. Room at the front of hotel was spacious, clean, comfortable, had air conditioning and a clean bathroom with hot shower. Breakfast was exceptional choice of hot and cold food. Well presented and plentiful. Regularly checked and replenished as necessary. Staff were exemplary. Couldn't have been more helpful.

We chose to have the windows open because we like the fresh air and because we were above the outside eating and drinking area there was a bit of noise but this was our choice and didn't cause us a problem.

What's not to like. Everything you need is here. Food great. Staff very attentive, nothing is too much trouble.

Having to go back home. This was our second stay here in the same room, suite 103. Although it's a great room with an amazing bathroom, jet shower and 2 person jacuzzi. The only thing that in our opinion, should be better is the bed. It's very comfortable, extra long, but 2 singles joint together with quite a big gap between the 2 mattresses is a bit of a let down when booking a suite .

Beautiful and well maintained hotel situated in the heart of Elst. Within walking distance of a bus stop and a train station. Ideal if you've got bussiness or attending an event in Arnhem. GelreDome is only 20 minutes away by local bus. There is a restaurant downstairs which serves excellent food. Breakfast is above average. Staff were cheery and friendly.

The bathrooms in the rooms are a little on the cheap side but manageable.

The hotel is central in Elst, nearby Arnhem and Nijmegen. The owners and staff are very friendly. We would visit again if we need to be in the neighbourhood.

The smokers gather in front of the hotel and the smoke blows up to the hotel rooms. There is too much choice at the breakfast and unfortunately the food is not fresh as it doesn’t rotate enough. The soups and snacks at the restaurant can be seasoned better.

What a lovely place to stay, our motorcycle was securely parked round the back of the property. The room was well decorated, comfortable and clean. We had a little outdoor seating area, but was raining so didn't get used. We had a meal in the restaurant which was absolutely beautiful, would recommend eating here during your stay. The breakfast was good value for money and very enjoyable. We used this hotel as a stop off for the Rotterdam Ferry

Very pleasant hotel with great Grand Cafe and big 'gezellig' terras on the ground floor. Railway station nearby with good connection to Arnhem and Nijmegen.

Only small issue is that Airconditioner makes buzzing sound at irregular intervals als when switched off during the night. Luckily I found solution by unplugging the powerplug from ceiling.

Oh my, this staff was sooooo friendly. It was a weird way of halls to find the room, but with their advice I found it and it was not the biggest room ever, but it had all the amenities you might need and the shower was very big. The breakfast had so many choices (warm, col, savoury, sweet...). Very good coffee!! And they keep filling the buffet up until the end. They also had a parking lot for cars and a parking space away from the busy streets for bikes and mopeds. Also the restaurant/bar below the hotel is great. Good food and friendly staff.

The bed was a bit too soft for my taste, but I prefer a very hard mattress.

I liked the fact that so many locals were outside on the terrace, the laid-back atmosphere, the excellent breakfast with great variety and on top of it all free parking till 9.00 AM

haha: there is a built-in lift which could be a bit quicker and where you would not have to hold the button until you have reached, but......this is just to have something to say. It was actually quite funny that lift.
