Incredible location and views, so quiet all you hear is birds chirping, everything around is just green and magical. Esther was absolutely amazing, very attentive to our needs and very very sweet. Breakfast was really good, and we also rented a boat through the same family & place and everyone was so nice. We fell in love with them and the place and HIGHLY recommend!

There wasn't an AC but it's like this in most places in the Netherlands as they're not used to warm weather. Esther did make sure to put a fan in our room though!

Her warm and friendly personality made us feel like we were staying with a dear friend. She went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was enjoyable and comfortable. The accommodation itself was beautiful, clean, and well-appointed. The attention to detail was impressive, and we appreciated the little touches that made our stay special. The location was perfect for us, as it was peaceful and quiet, yet still within easy reach of all the attractions we wanted to visit. A great country hotel for a short stay for a day visit to Ghithorn. The hospitality is personal by the owner of the place, Ester. Despite the late hour we arrived at the hotel, she waited for us and welcomed us. The room is cozy, spacious, lacking in pampering manners, but comfortable and absolutely satisfactory. We got a room overlooking the front of the hotel and the canal. Real peace. The breakfast was modest but sufficient. We had to define on the evening of our arrival what and how much of each item we wanted. It seems that everything is counted and measured...probably the custom of the place. In the morning we also rented a boat on the spot, and the pleasure of sailing in the canals and the lake was perfect. In conclusion, thank you Esther for the hospitality.

The terrible stairs to the room. Not for guests who have difficulty in climbing, aspecialy with luggage....

Host was nice, Room was spacious & clean, bathroom & towels were clean. Free parking in front of the hotel. Freshly prepared breakfast, my wife liked the raisin bread. I liked the idea of no wastage, as you have to preselect the breakfast the night before.

Pillows are awful, so thick & hard, not at all comfortable. It is bit isolated all by itself & with no full time Reception (perhaps due to lean season), unless you like isolation, it's not for us. Considering the price we paid through booking.com inspite of being a L2 genius member, it seems highly over priced, while similar properties in busiest area are available at much cheaper price.

Excellent location - easy and pleasant walk into the village. Boat and Bike hire on site. Spacious room with tea and coffee facilities. Friendly, family run B&B.

The wifi connection in the room was almost non-existent so had to rely on roaming. The boat hire seemed quite expensive.

Very nice hotel in a spectacular little village. We enjoyed the room and the freshly set individualised breakfast in the morning. Each guest could order the evening before, what they would like to eat and at what time m, which was a great idea. Very friendly owner. Great location and the posibility to rent an electric boat made this stay perfect for us. Highly recommended!

Located a short walk from the charming houses and canals in Giethoorn. The room was spacious and clean and the bathroom was lovely with a skylight. Great that we could also open up the windows fully to let air in. The host, Esther, was so warm, welcoming, and generous. The breakfast was custom order and delicious. I’d stay here again 100%.

The fact that you can rent the electric boat and its location is perfect to start boating - luv it. I think it's the best location to start boating as it's a quiet corner without all the busy traffic - that is an absolute bonus when one is trying to learn how to steer the boat for the first time.

although, walking from the bus stop to the location is not exactly that convenient with big luggage. Taxi cost 30euro for 9 km distance, unfortunately. Checking in is by 6 pm, barely made it - not sure if I will still be able to check if after 6 pm.

location, cleanliness, and the boat rental facility were great! Esther was a great host, answered all of our questions. There was no open-buffet but you need to order breakfast a day before (which turned out to be a great experience since we had our own individual table with food ready when we came down for breakfast and there was no waste).

The hotel wasn’t very close to public transportation, about 30 min walk (which was also nice). It’s a pity that the restaurant was closed.

Great breakfast and the owner was super nice and chatted with me about Geithoorn. Coffee was great excellent, food was fresh and the location was beautiful. They made it super easy to rent and bike and a boat and are very helpful in making accommodations.
