We arrived later than expected to the hotel, after a day in Eftling Theme park. We were greeted warmly, given our room key and directions, and assured we could get food in the restaurant downstairs. We did, and it was excellent!! The service was quick and efficient. The food was so tasty and arrived quickly. When we finally got to retire, the room was great. We are a family of 6, and we had been supplied with more than enough towels and sundries. It was a bit of a squeeze, but we managed fine.The bed was sooo very comfortable - I actually don't have words to describe how comfortable it was!! My pillow was perfect, although 1 or 2 of the others were a little lumpy. I was happy though! We opted not to have breakfast on site as we were heading into Amsterdam, so I could not comment on that. Overall, however, our experience was 1st class. Everything and everyone we met were great!

A lumpy pillow or 2 but not a deal breaker!! Bit of a squeeze in the room for 6 of us, but we managed grand.

A nicely finished modern first house hotel extremely close to Efteling Theme Park. It’s fantastic to have such a hotel just a 5 minute drive from the park. Rooms have a modern particular finish which we loved. Another bonus is that there is a supermarket right underneath the hotel that opens till 10.00pm. Parking is extremely easy in a free parking lot just next to the hotel.

Nothing - would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Efteling Theme Park especially if they are travelling with a car

- Well cleaned & good sized room for a short stay - good enough noise isolation - a big desk & decent amount of storage space - Effective air-conditioning & large windows (also a negative though) - TV with Netflix (connect with own account) kept the kids occupied - The staff were very polite and welcoming - Within walkable distance to Efteling - A nice playarea for the kids on the terrace - Albert Hijn supermarket is located just behind the hotel - The best part is FREE PARKING, which is a luxury in Netherlands. There are also a few spaces reserved for EV, with charging option.

- The dinner was good, but they did not have a lot of option - only pizzas. - I found the bed was too high & slightly uncomfortable as the mattress kept sinking. - The large windows is also a downside because there is a playarea with terrace just outside that left us with very little privacy. We had to keep curtains closed the entire time making the room dark. Planting hedges around playarea could help improve privacy.

Nice, friendly staff. Good clean rooms, and facilities. Good Breakfast buffet facilities. Family was happy with the stay. Easy to reach via Bus and Train from Schipol. There is a Lidl supermarket within walking distance, and also some restaurants further into the town centre. Overall, it was a very nice experience of Kaatsheuvel town. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from Efteling theme park. The hotel was easy to get to via Train & Bus from Schipol Airport/Train station. Would recommend for any family.

Maybe have breakfast price inclusive beforehand and maybe rooms without bunk beds.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel's location was fantastic, just a quick 10-minute walk from Efteling Park. It was easy to find, and there was plenty of safe parking available on-site. The room size was reasonable and included all the amenities we needed. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the vibe of the hotel was delightful, featuring both indoor and outdoor seating areas with a lovely café. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Our stay had some drawbacks. The reception was not serviced 24 hours and closed by 10 PM, which was inconvenient. Additionally, the café inside the hotel was also closed at that time, and the coffee machine didn’t work at night. Accessing the hotel required an access card, so it's important to ensure you check in while the reception is open. Overall, these issues affected our experience.

Only a few minutes to Efteling by car. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Had a great outdoor area with mini golf for the children. When we stayed it was extremely hot, so although the room we stayed in did not have a fridge, you could put food/drinks in a communal fridge at reception. Air con in the room.

There was 5 of us and 1 child and it was a real struggle in 1 room. Not necessarily the hotels fault, I should have checked the room lay out.

We liked the place because it was spacious, clean, classy and quiet. There is soundproofing, we did not hear the neighbors in the next rooms, the atmosphere was completely quiet. There is a service to connect the mobile to the TV to watch what we want, there is a safe to keep important things, the lighting is calm, the bathroom was completely clean and hair shampoo and conditioner, body lotion, soap, plastic cups from the hotel itself were provided. We could adjust the water temperature to our liking in the shower and sink. We could contact the room service by scanning the QR code. There were no spiders or spider webs in the corners of the room or any insects, the mattresses were clean of insects too. There was an air conditioner so you could control the temperature as you wanted. There were clothes hangers so we didn't need to keep the clothes in the bag. The hotel in general is great and worth a visit even if you don't want to do anything outside as the hotel has everything you could want and desire. The interior of the hotel makes you want to experience everything it has to offer, from the upscale rooms, restaurant, cafe, terrace and more.

Unfortunately there was dirt under the bed, leftover biscuits or something, the pillows were very uncomfortable, and there was no small table in the room to put something on by the sofa, the TV was loud or I don't know but we didn't enjoy watching TV while lying in bed as the beds block out the sound a bit so we had to turn the volume up a bit to hear and we couldn't do that because we didn't want to disturb the neighbors. Most importantly I got hit by the lower bed while being dragged.

The hotel is really well styled. It is clear that huge amounts of effort and creativity have gone into making it look so great. We loved our family room. The kids loved having their own space and we both had a TV which was a real novelty. The beds were comfy, everything was clean. Parking was also great. Free parking just next to the hotel.

Breakfast service can get very busy meaning it is hard to find a table and for the staff to keep on top of all the stocked items.

The whole hotel was aimed at families which made us feel so welcome. The rooms were spacious and were able to accommodate our family and luggage with ease. The breakfast was lovely and all the staff were so helpful. The walk to Efteling was easy and not too far at all. We hired a little cart for our two children from the hotel which was very much needed when walking around the theme park. One of the best hotels we've stayed at as a family in a very long time. We would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

The choices at dinner are a little limited.

Amazingly close to Efteling and very clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely and super helpful. The restaurant is well-priced when you compare other eateries in the area and the food was very good- I recommend a cocktail, too! Breakfast was decent with a good variety of food on offer.

I think it’s just something that a lot of Dutch and Flemish hotels don’t have - so I won’t complain too much - but tea and coffee in the rooms would be great and makes such a difference in the morning. That said, there is a coffee machine in reception and it is good coffee!
