This B&B exudes love in every detail, from the building to its owners. The room is a huge attic studio with a king-sized double bed and a single, a big lounge and dining area, a bathroom and kitchenette and a stunning garden complete with fish pond, lawn and plenty of outdoor seating if you want to eat breakfast or read a book outside. The 400-year-old house has been painstakingly restored by the owners and decorated very tastefully. The garden includes a particular highlight for kids - a nest swing that can go so high the kids fly 3 metres high or more. Breakfast came on a double-decker tray of delights, far more than we could eat and everything decorated to the delight of the children - a cheese platter and eggs with smiley faces, butter rosettes and a rich fruit platter. Tragically, we only stayed for one night but we’ll definitely be back for more.

Wonderful stay. delightful and welcoming hosts. far exceeded our expectations. the garden is beautitul and the attention to detail in the charming accomodation is fabulous - the photos do not do it justice! everything we needed was there plus the breakfast was AMAZING!!! we stayed for 1 night in Efteling too but wished we had stayed here every night!

very good and interesting presentation of the breakfast, the hosts were really nice and friendly and gave us all necessary information, the flat is big and equipped with everything you need, even toys for kids. My little son enjoyed it.

For us was not a problem but if you have persons with disabilities, it is difficult to use the narrow stairs to the flat.

Henk and Gerda are incredible hosts! Their bed and breakfast, nestled in a charming village near our relatives, was a true gem. The traditional house with a thatched roof added an authentic touch to our Dutch experience. From the moment we arrived, Henk and Gerda made us feel right at home. We enjoyed fascinating conversations about their family, the house's history, and life in Holland. Our room was lovely, and the beautifully maintained garden added a touch of serenity to our stay. Breakfast was a daily highlight, with Henk and Gerda preparing delicious meals that left us craving more. They even woke up early on our last day to prepare sandwiches for our journey back to the airport. Henk's secure shop in the back was a convenient perk for my son's bike. Meeting Henk and Gerda made our trip truly special. They epitomize the warmth and charm of the old Dutch culture. I highly recommend their property to anyone seeking an authentic and memorable experience.

No changes required, we loved everything about our stay

We had a very good stay here. The space was well equipped with everything we needed, and you can really tell that a lot of care and attention to detail has gone into making the room comfortable and homely. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, and served us a fantastic breakfast in the morning. As we were on a cycling trip, we were kindly allowed to store our bikes in their garage overnight. We would happily come back and stay again!

Very clean and cosy, wonderful garden with a fish pond and a regular squirrel visitor :) The apartment had everything a family needs to feel comfortable and enjoy the stay! The hosts, Henk and Gerda made pur stay feel like a part of the fairytale of Efteling and were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was exceptional and whimsically decorated - this put a smile on our face each morning. Thank you Henk and Gerda for your hospitality!

Very comfortable and cosy apartment with everything you need,including a beautiful garden to relax in.

It got a little chilly of an evening and even after turning the thermostat up the radiators remained cold. But I also didn’t ask Hank so our fault really.

Very friendly hosts. Structure very nice, well organised and clean. Super confortable beds and delicious breakfast. A few kilometers from Efteling, in a very quite village. Perfect for a short stay with a kid!

Absolutely everything! Beautiful garden, very cozy interior with everything that you need. Super helpful and friendly hosts, 11/10!
