The host is amazing! She was very welcoming and kind. She even offered to make us dinner because there there aren’t any dining facilities in the area. She provided us with a lovely lamb dinner! Our room was comfortable and clean. Quite tiny with a shared bathroom down the hall but was everything we really needed.

First impression when you arrive is “what is this place” because it doesn’t present like a typical B&B but wait until you go inside because it is lovely! There is even a tiny shop with delicious local ice cream to buy and so many “lamb” themed items!

A lovely rural location just outside the city of Tilburg. The welcome was great and the whole atmosphere of the place was perfect for me to use as a base for exploring the area. Facilities were 1st class and very comfortable, breakfast was ample to see me through the day. I would have no hesitation in staying again or recommending to others - a much more natural environment than say a hotel.

Nothing - with the possible thing being the lights in the room were a bit dim for finding things in my rucksack, but this was in no way detrimental to my stay

Our host Hannah-Laura was lovely and very helpful during our stay. We were only there for 2 nights as we visited Efteling and the drive was only 15-20 minutes to get there by car. The accommodation is a good size and our attic family room looked out over the fields and caravan park. The views reminded us of a Van Gogh painting. In the evenings the place was quiet and the attic room was the perfect place to just chill out and chat. It was warm and cosy and the breakfast room ample with all the facilities you'd expect from a self-catering experience. The local town had a supermarket called Plus about 10-15 minutes away by car.

The female owner is really friendly and provided helpful hints where to have dinner nearby or where to go out for a walk. We got a map of the "Loonse en Drunense Duinen", a natural reserve which is worth a visit. At a Sunday or national holiday, however, it is recommendable to arrive up to 10 am because because both biker and liker are fond of these area. "Hoeve de Mertel" has a small shop where own products and cheese from local producers are sold.

It is unusual and undesirable to have the washbasin in the living room.

A very comfortable, relaxed to place to stay. Especially after a long day of out and about, it was a pleasure to such a serene B&B. Breakfast was excellent and the hostess was always ready with another cup of coffee.

One small minus point, only that when I went to take a shower a little after 9:00 P.M. the lightsensor (?) above the cabin didn't come on. I still had enough illumination from other sources, so it wasn't as if I was in the total darkness. In the morning everything was okay.

Hannalore and her mother are very very kind and generous hosts. We felt immediately at home, she was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was amazing, everything that one can think of, for breakfast was offered on the tray. Sheep and farm were extra bonus. Little lambs were born just before and during our stay which made it even more interesting for us.

The one only thing that could improve was the shower. The water pressure was not strong and the showers had open ceiling which made it a bit cold in the winter as they are in the hall which is not heated like the rooms.

The staff was lovely. The breakfast was very good. The room was cozy and warm. Very clean also. Since it's a farm, there's pigs, a cat and a good boy (girl?) doggo called Rakkertje. A nice stay all in all.

The location is far from Tilburg centre, and the public transport there is pretty bad. So you definitely need a car or bicycle. Also the overtly Christian art might be too much for some.

ok, the bathroom was shared, but extremely clean, so not an issue. Breakfast was amazing, way too much actually, we felt bad as we had to leave some food on the table!

A portable AC would have been greatly apreciated as the room got extremely hot

Everything was wonderful. If you have the chance to stay here, do it! It's a calm, quiet place. Either alone, with friends and family. Everyone is welcome and gonna leave smiling. The breakfast is very delicious. I also can recommend to take one of the bikes for rent. Great place overall.
