The breakfast was comprehensive and tasty (one of the reasons I chose to stay at Hotel de Roode Schuur again), and all of the staff were always friendly and helpful. I was lucky enough to be there for King's Day, and got treated to free slices of tompouce - big thank you!

I needed to get some work done while I was travelling, and it would have been better to have a desk in my room.

Good hotel with friendly staff and modern and cozy rooms. Rooms are big and spacy as for 3 persons, have freezer and coffee machine with coffee and tea sets, Breakfasts were included not so good as wanna by much better that could be. hotel has free parking

Breakfasts could be better, scrambled eggs were bitter and sometimes it were a problem to find really clear plate. From my perspective room illumination could be a little more brighter. And the main issue is of aty separation of toilet and living areas.

Interior Design, Accessibility, and provision.

Even though the design is very modern and nice, a door between bathroom and bedroom would be most appreciated, even if one is visiting with his/her partner. An open bathroom concept is quite irritating and for some occasions not quite suitable. Nevertheless, it is the only thing, which might be considered changing.

The keyless way of entering the hotel worked perfectly, we arrived after the reception was closed and were a bit worried no to be able to get into our room and the hotel as such, but with the email and keyless option...it all worked fine!

The breakfast room is too small for the hotel, we were all squeezed in, but it worked and at least we were able to sit at a table for 2 with our party of 3, half blocking the other table and the corridor. We did see that some people used a lot of time for breakfast, maybe it is an idea to somehow limit breakfast time so that more people can fit ;-)

Amazing value for money. Spacious room and excellent shower. Beds were very comfortable. Staff was super friendly and the breakfast was great for the price. And A+ for cleanliness. Also excellent parking facilities.

Can’t think of anything

We arrived after a very long day of cycling & stayed one night. The room was small but had everything we needed for 1 night - clean, modern, security for our bikes, pub restaurant for a good meal, welcoming helpful staff.

No fridge, no Jug (only a coffee maker that dispensed tiny amounts of boiling water)

The teabags provided were only alternative, flavoured and or green tea. A lot of water runs out of the shower no matter how well you close the door. The duvets were too hot. A simple sheet and a blanket would be appreciated.

- wc was noisy (all day bubbled) - we had to turn off refrigerator during night time (very noise) - the shower door makes a loud noise every time it opens and closes

Very clean and nice place not far from Amsterdam. Really nice place for the value, especially compared to prices in Amsterda. Clean room and bathroom. Highly recommended

We stayed in a room for 3 persons and there was no door that would separate toilet from the actual room, so that might not be good for shy person in the company

Strong 4* hotel in beautiful location. We stayed in room for 3, it was really big but no door to toilet/bath room was a bit surprising. Interior and exterior are excellent! Good breakfast. Big and free parking. Close to A1 highway. Highly recommended for this price!
