As of basics it was fine, nice spacious room, spacious bathroom, spacious shower, location, parking Only flaw, but for me significant was neglected proper cleaning of shower. Mold/fungus in the corners is not a sign of great hospitality and cleanliness. Optically hidden thanks to low lighting and dark tiles, it can give you the privilege of a souvenir, which you will take on your feet as a memento of your visit. I personally pointed out the deficiency at the reception. I got a reply that they are aware of it and are solving it by replacing the silicone after a certain period. Unfortunately, the state in between will not please the guest. A pity for the wasted investment and efforts of the owners of the hotel chain. I hope that based on this review will management swing into action and improve cleaning services quality. It is simple, just buy proper detergent and use regularly.

I would like to commend the exceptional service I received during my stay at the Bastion Hotel in Amersfoort. In particular, the female receptionist who assisted me during check-out—whose name I believe is Rawinda—was incredibly friendly and professional. Her warm demeanor made the process smooth and pleasant, leaving a positive impression as I departed.Additionally, I would like to acknowledge Alex, the bartender, as well as the evening receptionist, also named Alex. Both were exceptionally friendly, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay. Their professionalism and attentiveness did not go unnoticed and greatly enhanced my experience.Furthermore, I was pleased to find my room impeccably cleaned, including the toilet and shower facilities. The attention to cleanliness and detail made my stay even more enjoyable.Overall, I had a delightful experience at the Bastion Hotel, thanks in large part to the dedicated staff and the well-maintained accommodations.

During my recent stay at the Bastion Hotel in Amersfoort, I encountered a rather unpleasant experience upon my departure. While I was enjoying a glass of orange juice, I was taken aback by a most distressing odor emanating from the glass. The smell was quite horrendous, which detracted significantly from what should have been a refreshing moment. Although there were only a few guests present in the breakfast area at the time, I opted not to voice my concerns, as I did not wish to disrupt the atmosphere. However, I believe it is essential for the hotel management to be aware of such issues to ensure a more pleasant experience for future guests.

The hotel is conveniently located in a business district, making it an ideal choice for business travelers or those just passing through. Guests will appreciate the spacious rooms and bathrooms, as well as the added convenience of an in-room coffee machine. Free parking was available.

I noticed that when I slightly moved the nightstand, the floor underneath was quite dust y and hadn't been cleaned. Additionally, the shower was not functioning properly during my stay.. It would be lovely to have a kettle in the room,

I received a floor on the 5th floor which had a very strong smell of something burned (the floor, not the room) when I asked the following morning it seems like they had a major fire in the room next to mine, two weeks ago. That gave me a new room but not sure why that have put me there in the first place given that the hotel was not fully booked.

Where should I start?! We originally stayed at an AirBnb which was nothing like we expected, so we kind of stranded at the Hotel afterwards and were met with a wonderful environment. The Hotel is directly next to the Autobahn, perfect for anyone who intends to visit different cities during their travels. The room was very spacious, it was clean and quiet. And finally the people working there were always friendly, forthcoming and always met us with a smile. 10/10, would recommend to anyone looking for a good Hotel for traveling around the Netherlands. Will definitely visit again.

Nothing, everything was above our expectations.

Good choice for breakfast and possibility to have eggs cooked to our liking. Great location if you are in transit, as we were...just off the highway, and secure parking so we didn't have to unpack everything. Air conditioned rooms, and very sound proof when windows closed so although the highway was right opposite, we could not hear it. Staff super helpful. Somewhat limited menu for dinner at the restaurant on the Saturday evening (believe it was the weekend menu), but everyone still managed to find something they liked, and the quality of the food was good.

One lift was out of order when we were there, so that often led to long delays, but I think we were just unlucky with that.

The room was nicely decorated, the wet room shower was lovely to use. They had a few English TV channels on the TV too. The gym looked well-equipped and was free to use, not that I did :)

The location wasn't amazing for my purposes, although that was more my fault for not really checking. There is a bus into Amersfoort nearby, otherwise unless you drive it could be 20+ euros in a taxi. Again, my fault. The bar is a little pricey too.

Location with easy access to/from highway if you are making stopover. Safe and monitored parking. Did not need to unload whole car! Staff very attentive and proactive. Picked up at check-in that birthday was 2 days prior (!!!), congratulated and offered a complimentary drink at bar. Also a very smart move to get us to order dinner in-house:)! Tasty food and very attentive on food allergy. Room and bathroom spacious and large screen flat TV.

Could not sleep with open window or have dinner outdoors as noise levels from nearby highway is very high. TV channels only Dutch and German.

Everything was great—ample parking, a welcome drink, a spacious room, a huge bed, and reliable Wi-Fi.

I was working in my room with a "Do Not Disturb" sign hanging on the door, but despite the sign, a staff member knocked and entered the room. While this isn’t a major issue, it raises concerns about safety, as anyone could potentially enter the room despite the sign. When guests request not to be disturbed, it’s important to respect their privacy and take their request seriously.

We got the city view for the New Year’s Eve so it was great to see the fireworks far off from the city. It was easily accessible by car and free parking is a plus one. The breakfast spread was good enough. The dinner portions were large and food tasted well. The staff was friendly. Window were noise proof given we were near the highway.

Coffee machine was a little difficult for us to operate but it might be our issue. A towel for bathroom floor would have been great as the shower water would splash a little.
