Bob on reception was amazing, so friendly and managed to get us booked in to our room just after 12.00. He even stopped on his way home (on his bike ) to take a picture for us of us in front of the city gate. We found all the staff to be incredibly friendly but Bob is worth a special mention! Breakfast was a delicious buffet with a wide choice of hot and cold food. The omelette was cooked to order and was delicious.

Enjoyed the breakfast buffet menu and how close the hotel is to the train station. The green stay option to trade a room clean for a drink is a great idea too, as I usually don't need my room cleaned every day.

I personally found the mattress to be a little too firm. Would have preferred a single double bed instead of 2 singles put together to make a double, though that wouldn't have been much of a problem if the wheel locks held the beds in position better when putting pressure between the two beds.

Good location - away from the main tourist area but still within walking distance of the wonderful city centrum and railway station. Spacious and safe underground parking. If you travel with kids, checkout the fantastic Dieren Park / Zoo, few minutes away by car.

Room furniture / bathroom fixtures a tiny bit dated.

NH hotel has some of the best staff I've encountered at a hotel. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast had a lot of options which was very good, I was extremely impressed. The location is also a great point for them; a less than 10 minute walk from both the train station and the city center. All in all a great stay in Amersfoort!

The breakfast was delicious and there was a wide variety of options. Loved that. My corner suite was ample and I loved that the tv was raised out of the way and could be moved to face the couch or the bed.

No on site gym, but worse was that the gym down the street that is available you have to pay for each time you go. I wish a fitness center of some sort was included in the price. Bathroom style was outdated and drab, but it was still very comfortable

It’s such a great spot, walking distance from downtown, and the train station, and everything there is to see in amersfoort. It’s even an easy walk from the train station to the hotel with your luggage. The staff here is amazing. Absolutely amazing, and down to earth. It’s also just overall great, and up to date.

firstly, I was pleasantly surprised by the non-dairy option at the coffee machine, it offered flat white or latte macchiato with oat milk, and I chose option with oat milk, but after tasting it, I understood that it wasn't oat milk, it tasted like a regular milk, so I couldn't drink it. also, it was inconvenient not to have a socket in the bathroom anywhere in the room next to the mirror

The hotel was comfortable and the staff professional, polite and friendly. I liked the fact that the hotel offered refreshing and delicious complementary drinks, e.g. mineral water steeped in sprigs of mint, slices of cucumber/ lemon, as well as fruit. A thoughtful, considerate touch, especially in the middle of a heat wave.

I was just passing through with my dog for a one-night stay but had enough time to walk around in the pretty city of Amersfoort. Vicinity to the railway station plus a quiet, pet-friendly room were priorities - the room was big, clean, comfy and quiet, amenities were great and the breakfast excellent with vegetarian options. The location near the station and a short walk from main sights was perfect.

I really like the hotel’s location: close to the train station and to the old centrum. The staff was very friendly, especially the ones in the restaurant. The food there was delicious too! The bedroom was very comfortable with a beautiful view. Super satisfied!
