The architecture and spaciousnes. The lecture staff in the restaurant were excellent. The food was excellent.

We noticed a large clump of Japenese Knot Weed in the grounds outside our room 125. It was surprising that no control measures appeared to be happening. I am sure it is realised that JKW is incredibly invasive, difficult to eradicate and is notifiable as an invasive species. It causes huge damage and affects value and saleability.

Definitely recommend! Although it's also used for conventions/meetings, it is still cosy due to the interior design and the character of the monastery building, and the breakfast room being not too large. Rooms are more practical than cosy. Breakfast was good. Great price/quality (even if you don't take into account it's a place where the staff are students still learning on the job)!

Underfloor heating in bathroom could not be turned off, seemed a bit of waste of energy.

The hotel is inside a former monastery and this in itself is rather impressive. The size of both the room and of the bathroom was good. Very nice, renovated breakfast area and good breakfast. Comfortable beds. Nice shower. Free parking.

Distance to central station in amersfoort or to the city centre is rather big for walking (in the region of 2.5 km), so we used taxi on several occasions (the taxi was about 11-12 Euros). The bathroom needed a fresh paint.

The property is absolutely beautiful, such a peaceful location and great when traveling with a car as easy parking. It was my birthday and the staff really went the extra mile to make it special. Super friendly and helpful staff, breakfast included and lovely room with a balcony!

Only downside was no AC however they do provide a fan in the rooms!

The reception and staff were very friendly and did their best to provide their help with anything. Breakfast was spot on, excellent buffet and great location. Very beautiful. Tried both room types and they are spacious with great atmosphere and nothing negative to remark about them.

There were some renovations ongoing which at first I found unpleasant to discover this on arrival and not before. But the property is so amazing that I'll return anyway and get to see the renovated area then.

What a fabulous setting for a hotel and so nice to see the young people in training for a career in hospitality. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere with excellent food (can recommend the steak tartare). Felt more like a holiday than a business trip.

Immense and labyrinthine complex; friendly staff, happy to explain how the college works; a comfortable room (former monk’s cell); superb set dinner in the Novice restaurant; easy parking.

Service was a bit slow and unsure at times, but that’s to be expected from trainees!

Place is beautifull and they have coffee machines everywhere so guests can easily serve themselves. We traveled by bike and a bike rack was available in front entrance.

Breakfast table said there was also apple juice available, but staff said they didn't have it. Pillow was too soft for me, but I usually don't find pillows that I like in hotels, so I'm used to it.

Staffed by trainee hospitality students which was interesting! Very good 4 course meal cooked by the trainees and good value. Hotel is in a lovely setting. Great stay.with parking.amd coffee machine in the room.

We felt that rhe set breakfast was disappointing - limited choice for those not wishing eggs, meat and cheese for the start if the day. Breakfast seems to differ from the in-house video which showed a choice of cereals also!

Sleeping in style in a high studded room, with a well stocked breakfast buffet to top it off. Superb location and ample parking.
