Really friendly staff, really nice surroundings and very relaxed vibe in the hostel. Beautiful design in the hostel, one of my favorite hostels so far!! Thanks for being patient with me saying what I did not like.

I also told the staff, I was working and needed to rest at night, my room was located next to an entrance, so it was quite noisy since lots of people had to pass by there or smoked in front of the room, so I had trouble sleeping. This was because it was the only free room left. So, next time, I might be earlier with booking and this might be no problem at all.

Poor pressure under the shower, shower itself isn't moving and water is splashing all over the toilet. Windows don't open, own food and beverage aren't allowed, poor breakfast, no kettle, no hairdryers, no towels, beds aren't done, you must do it yourself, before and also after the reservation, even after taking the heating up it was still cold. We've had a feeling that we've been jailed..

Location was perfect. The hostel and staff were excellent, I would highly recommend staying here. Soest is a beautiful place, convenient for Amersfoort and Utrecht. The hostel garden and communal spaces were also very comfortable and inviting.

We had a private room for two. It would have been nice to have a kettle for hot drinks and noodles, particularly because there aren't many options for dining out in the area.

Great location for our needs

We bought the dinner on the day, just as I was paying I confirmed that it was a buffet style dinner which was confirmed. When we got to the restaurant 10 minutes later, no buffet but we were served what I would describe as yesterday’s leftovers - reheated and absolutely uneatable chips, frozen veg, fried cauliflower and frozen meatballs. When the lady serving our dinner saw our massive disappointment she brought a small glass of fresh strawberries and dried out chocolate mousse. Total rip-off

We liked most the place around... So nice to be into the nature. The stuff was friendly and helpful. We had nice rest.

The breakfast was good but when they had a lot of ppl at the same time became little bit mess... Lack of cups and other things on the desk. But anyway was nice.

The location of Stayokay is great. Surrounded by trees, with gardens to sit in and the dunes not far away. Parking is on site. The hostel has great areas for reading and relaxation. Board games are available, as well as a bar - so that made for a nice evening. The staff are really pleasant and so helpful. When checking in we received all information pertaining to the accommodation, and were given a map of the local area and an explanation about what we might find locally, including restaurants. All very helpful. In the end, we opted for the evening meal at Stayokay which was okay - three courses for 18 euros - and we appreciated the convenience of available hot food after a long day of travelling. Breakfast (included in the accomodation price) was fine - cereal, juice, nice breads, cold meats, eggs and cheese, coffee. All meals are self-service. The sleeping accommodation is no frills but clean and well organised. Our room had bunk beds, with linen provided to make our beds, shower and toilet. Perfectly adequate. In all Stayokay is good value for money. Simple accomodation in a lovely location.

The only real issue was how hot the room got at night.

The location - very close to where I needed to be for my trip and surrounded with nature, the breakfast was very good, staff very friendly, clean room.

As this is a hostel - would have been good if there was a kitchen for the guests to us. Otherwise a great place to stay.

The location of the hostel is beautiful. If you like nature this is one of the best places to stay. The staff is helpful and we had no trouble during our stay here.

Very friendly, clean and cosy place, with a good breakfast.

Extra purchases are required for. towls and taxes. Also no shampo and a mirrow in the bath will be good. Specially for guesst who stay only for couple nights.
