Grenshotel de Jonckheer was an absolute surprise to us. This is a beautiful hotel, seemingly in a modest small town. There is a lovely bar whereby you can sit outside and relax and watch the world go by. A walk into the centre of the town is about 15 minutes along a nice street with interesting houses to admire. The rooms were spacious and very clean. There is plenty of very secure parking at the hotel. We came on a motorbike and felt very happy leaving the bike in the car park. The breakfast was excellent with a "fits all tastes" buffet. We would definitely return.

A minor, very minor, comment would be that the reception got a little busy and it perhaps needed 2 people attending to guests.

Mostly everything was really well. We ate dinner and had breakfast and the food was fantastic.

The staff for dinner made us feel we were doing them a favour. We had to ask a couple of times for things, they did not seat us where a place setting was set. BEWARE, they charge 3Euro for tap water! I refused to pay and they accepted that. However upon check out she had not removed the charge but the receptionist did credit us. It would have been so amazing if we had not had to deal with this.

Clean, modern hotel. Food was excellent

Restaurant was very popular and hence busy, so quite a wait for food. Staff handled the pressure well though. There was only the restaurant available for food, it would have been good to have the bar open for snack/bar food to relieve some pressure on the restaurant.

The beakfast was the best and the breakfast staff is just lovely! The restaurant and the lobby is also very nice.

Deluxe room wasn't what I expect of a deluxe room. The bed was too soft, I didn't sleep well at all. Cleanliness can be improved upon, had limescale in the bathroom, the toilet wasn't clean and stains in the carpet of the room. Personal preference: having to shower in the bathtub is just not my thing. And the towel for the feet in the bathroom was wet and I had to exchange it for a dry one at reception.

Such a great place. A really nice hotel, easy access, lot of parking places. The room is really good and very clean. And the breakfast is wonderful. I'd like to emphasis the service, all people was really great, very professional and kind.

nothing special, except the wifi connection a bit low sometimes, i imagine it depends on the distance your room is from the router.

The Hotel is in a nice and quiet area in the Dutch countryside and location is perfect since close to Antwerp and Rotterdam with Eindhoven airport at just 1,5 hours. Breakfast is served from 05:30 and perfectly match if you need to be in time for business purpose. Plus you can benefit from electric charging spots in the parking area if you drive with a plug-in car or electric one.

I want to appreciate all hotel's staff. The hotel is perfectly clean. No any noisy sounds from outside. So beautiful surrounding area with fresh air. The food are perfect. The staff is so polite with brilliant English.

Great breakfast and good location since nearby Antwerp and close to the highway to reach Rotterdam. For business trips, I found it ideal considering the huge parking and full silence in the evening paired to the restaurant at the ground floor with good quality food.

The hotel has an excellent size, a huge parking space (free of charge), a very stylish interior and great spacious rooms. The bathroom also had a good size. The breakfast is excellent, high quality food - it was also possible to order eggs. Top quality.

The shower pressure could have been a bit stronger; the pillow was definitely too small and too hard.

Very friendly, professional and helpful personnel. A small problem with the room heating was quickly resolved. Big and clean room, very good shower. A spacious parking lot with sufficiently large spaces. The selection of breakfast was very rich and tasty, the coffee was excellent. We stayed there for two nights while visiting Antwerp because the accommodation there is very expensive and you have to pay terrible wages for parking and breakfast. Antwerp is only 30 minutes by car.

The room lighting was poor, some of the lamps were broken. The heating broke down in the meantime, but the fault was quickly repaired. The bed was too soft for me. We missed the kettle and refrigerator in the room.
