What a great relaxing location. If you want to see a little of rural Holland this is it. Plenty of walks or bike rides to do, 25 min walk to the lake with stunning views and great restaurants and bars. Easy access from train station to Amsterdam, Harlem and Alkmaar. Property is fantastic, great host in Ina and super breakfast brought to you in a basket.

Minor downside is it’s 1.2 miles from the train station. There is a bus to the property the 163 that runs hourly.

Ina's warm welcome and very kind treatment really contributed to the overall good feeling during our stay. She was very helpful, with attention to every detail. The breakfast is served in the room (you can make your own choices from wide variety of pastries, cheese, ham/sausages, boiled eggs, fruits, marmalades, yoghurts, fresh orange juice). Cleanliness is just perfect. The location is great to make trips to surrounding towns/villages, to the coast, as well as to Amsterdam (easiest way to get there is by train, in 30-45 min). Ina provides a brief overview of the places worth visiting in the neighborhood upon arrival and shows you everything on the map in the lobby. We recommend to visit the restaurant located on the ground floor, which is delicious (Ina also provides you with a list of other restaurants and supermarkets nearby, upon request). The bed was perfect (mattresses are stiff and comfy). We will definitely come back again!

Trucks passing by can be a bit noisy, but it is acceptable if the windows are closed.

Very positive impressions. Neat, clean and well equipped room. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was varied, delicious and served in the room. The location is excellent starting point for sightseeing the nearby beauty of North Holland. Hostess was friendly, communicative and accommodating. Next time we'll try to stay more than one night. There is a beautiful old Windmill illuminated at night.

Friendly environment, perfect place to stay. The room, bathroom, the design, everything were new. Very helpful to their guests . My son got sick and they even offered to go to the hospital. Breakfast was incredible. Thinking to visit Amsterdam? Stay here. The train station is 4 minutes away and the train takes 30 minutes. Thank you Millsight...
