Panorama around hotel is perfect. Location is so silent and resting. Staff is helpfull. Relations are warm.Breakfast is reasonable.There are good places to around and their quality are also good.

No slipper, no fridge, no drink capability (cattle, tea /coffee etc) at room.There is at bar but it closes after sometime and you don't have any capability after that.Hotel is not so convenient to reach from airport and travel takes more than an hour. To go there by taxi should not be tried. Rooms and toilet side is narrow and not comfortable.Quality price ratio is not advisable.

Everything was perfect;breakfastfor all tastes, good coffes,good menu în restaurant for lunch( fish and chips- my favourite), big and clean rooms,confortabile beds.Personnel very helpfull and friendly(we have chek-out at 12 and they let us stay, for my husband health problem,until 17 without extra pay); thank you very much, again! The position of the hotel is perfect, în front of port, of the see! We will comeback în noiembrie for BZN Fandag!

More option for dinner!

When we arrived, the room we expected to have was not available. The staff solved it by giving us one of the best room of the hotel. We appreciated a lot their effort. This (large) room had two big windows face to the port, the view was spectacular! The bed was very comfortable. We had an excellent dinner at the restaurant. The location is great.

In our opinion, the breakfast could be improved, the reception service also.

The position is incredible, the staff very clear and helpful, the design very very cool. We also had dinner at the restaurant in front of the sea, breakfast looking at the dawn. It is an incredible place, if I ever go back to Volendam I will stay there again for sure!! Also, they offer free parking for bicycles in their garage.

The only thing I didn't like was the plastic bedsheet under the classic bedsheet. I know it is more hygenic, but at night it had me sweating like crazy...

Location was great. Food was great, even the included breakfast was great! The staff were pleasant and helpful.

There wasn’t a full time front desk. Servers, who were already very busy, would stop and help when they could. The television didn’t work properly and the bathroom sink didn’t drain because there was no way to open the stopper. This is a problem that the cleaning crew had to be aware of. Also no AC, so rooms had their doors open to help with cross ventilation.

The Hotel Old Dutch is right on the road/walkway that separates it from the marina. All the shops and eateries are just a short walk from the entrance. A bicycle rental shop is about a minute away. The area has incredible charm. The beds and pillows were okay in terms of comfort. The morning breakfast was solid and included smoked salmon and fresh fruit. We arrived via train from Amsterdam Central, followed by an approximate 3-5 minute walk to the hotel.

Our top floor room featured the contours and beams of the roof, requiring frequent ducking so as to not get whacked. Because of the hotel location, there is a lot of street noise at night until everyone turns it.

Amazing location and friendly staff! The check-in has been quick and easy. The harbour view from our room was remarkable, and it definitely made our stay more pleasant. Also, the interior design is very traditional, and we loved the paintings and photos on the walls.

If we related it to the room price, we would have appreciated having more shampoo and body wash as well as lotion in the bathroom. The bathroom is very basic. Would have been nice to have a selection of fresh fruit for breakfast, on top of the fruit salad. Also, some dairy alternatives would have been absolutely great! But overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful hotel, perfectly located with modern, cozy rooms and comfy beds. Great breakfast and top restaurant. The harbour view while having breakfast or dinner is amazing. Also the hotel is in the heart of Volendam the rooms are quiet and spacious. Team of Old Dutch hotel is sooo friendly and super helpful. Would book again.

No signage at the back, it took ages to find out were to go and eventually after going back to town to realise that this was actually were you enter “ through the storeroom and past the kitchen”. It will help to put the hotel name on and an explanation how to get to the reception.

Great location and the view from our room, was amazing! Excellent buffet breakfast! Our room was comfortable and spotless clean. Friendly staff and extremely helpful. Can stay at this hotel for weeks.
