Staffs (esp the lady and a young man who can speak Thai) Cleanliness Locating in the prime area of this town, Facing the sea (though a little view block for my room but the next room i guess perfectly fine) I was there on Sunday night and the area was totally quiet.

A bit too comfy bed. The wall is a bit thin I guess. Laughters came in. But it was ok as it didn’t last too late night. Steep stairs ( but staff helped me with my medium-sized luggage)

Breakfast was good and glad we had it available to us - Location was great and we rented bikes just down the waterfront way

Beds were not comfortable - needs more padding. Also the hike up the stairs was tough (short steps and narrow turn etc)- People really need to be aware of the climb to the rooms if they have bad health

Fantastic view from bedroom window over harbour, sunset and sunrise! Staff in restaurant great and meals were excellent. Really enjoyed our one night visit. Got ferry to Marken on route back to Amsterdam with our bikes.

The area is a little noisy in the evening as near lots of restaurants and bars. But we had a great time.

Location was amazing right on the harbour front. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was wonderful. Beds were very comfy and shower perfect. One reviewer had said that it was noisy and there was a bar around the corner that we could hear a bit of music from with the windows open but it didn't disrupt our sleep and it was closed by 12. Very peaceful stay. Really loved our stay.

Almost everything. The staff was extremely friendly. The rooms very clean and the view on the lake amazing. The breakfast in the morning was plenty and very nice. When we visit Volendam again, we will definitely not hesitate to book this accommodation again.

There is only a small suggestion we had for the rooms. We flew in from Toronto Canada and a few where impacted by a jet lag, resulting in a very early wake up time. This is one of the reasons we booked the rooms with a view on the lake. We would have rated this accommodation a 10 out of 10 if we would have been able to enjoy this view with a coffee. So a small coffee / Espresso machine in the room would have been very nice.

Great location, good breakfast

No shower gel although we were offered it but had already booked in and went and bought some. No facilities to make hot drink, not many plug points in room. Parking is free nearby although gets incredibly busy, free parking elsewhere with a 20 minute walk.

Location was absolutely beautiful 🤩 great choice of restaurants and shops on both sides

A little outdated but still beautiful considering it’s in a fishing village. The elderly gentleman in the restaurant was very rude and grumpy. I don’t think he should be working with customers if he’s that grumpy

Location was right at the harbor area. Nice view. The room is very small but very clean. The breakfast was very nice. Excellent spot for a couple of nights. Restaurant / bar downstairs very nice for a drink or food with view to the harbor. Very friendly staff.

Room a bit small for 2 people for an extended stay. Overall nothing negative to say!

It overlooked the sea as described room was’nt very big but fine. Good breakfast too much for two.

There was no parking at the hotel, small Dutch streets around so no parking there. Found car park a walk away. Restaurant under the room so noisy till late.

Charming, pretty clean, nice location but very long walk from the public parking lot. No elevator so a bit difficult to get the luggage to the room on the narrow stairs. The breakfast was very good!
