Super convenient to the functions (wedding and reception) I was attending and catching up with friends in Mataura. Updated decor and furnishings. Very clean and had all basic conveniences/chattels and consumables available. Private parking away from main road. Very helpful, friendly reception staff/owner.

Only had 'shaver only' power point in bathroom so had to find a standard power point for hairdryer in bedroom 6 feet from a mirror. 4am train......😉

It was clean, tidy and had what I needed. Shower was great and the electric blanket was nice. The fridge, microwave and full oven was good to see, as many motels do not offer that.

It took some time for the small heater to warm up the room. The internet connectivity wasn't strong and kept going in and out. A tidy complex on arrival and the unit was sound. If I had to make any generalisation, it would be that it had a 'tired' look and needed a bit of a facelift. Be aware that you are not too far away from the train tracks!

Owners were awesome. Easy friendly check in and were amazing switching us out to another room on night two when our water went cold. Good kitchen for family cooking. Comfy beds and nice and warm in spite of the really hard frosts both nights.

Wouldn't complain about anything. Nice place.

Allowed us to check in early which was great after a morning of traveling! Was able to check in and have a nap before we headed off to do other things. The cleaning ladies didn't bother us, instead they waited for us to head out before they restocked and replaced things which I appreciated!

Wasn't any issues at all.

It was an older style motel, a little bit outdated however that does not outweigh how comfortable it was. The beds were comfortable and big, even though it had no air-conditioning the weather was cool and the fan provided was sufficient. The room was way bigger than we expected it to be and that was great, we were able to have our own quiet spaces if we wanted. The bathroom was huge and the shower was great. The staff were lovely. Close to town and easy to find.

I liked everything, especially the netflix option 🤣

Sink in bathroom only has cold water, lamp beside bed had blown bulb. Parking lot pokey if cars already parked so often parked on street.

We’ve stayed many times due to my daughter doing horse events across the road. Convenient and helpful staff (have borrowed bowls and cutlery for the day a couple of times, no problem)

Nothing really. Great for the price. Maybe a smaller room just for two, for even less, but it’s fine the way it is too.

Has outside tables for each unit, and space for two people to sleep in separate rooms

Parking was a tad difficult for our unit (6). It was very hot, ice in the freezer would have been great
