Breakfast was a nice large buffet. It would have been nice to have the option for custom made to order breakfast, especially given the small number of guest staying when we were there (less food waste). The manager provided fantastic recommendations for hiking trails to visit that met our timeframe and goals. They were great alternatives to hikes to see the glaciers, which wasn't feasible due to the weather (clouds too low).

It was surprising how few guests were staying during the two nights we were there. The dining room was mostly empty evenings and mornings, and it was a felt a little strange. Other than the manager, staff seemed fairly inexperienced, though they were efficient and professional.

In a quite remote settlement, but just a minute from state highway 6, and with just three rooms, it is magically idyllic - the views from the room and from the covered decking are fantastic. There is no TV - and no need for one with the views and nature around! The owner was very helpful, including giving us advice on the (only) place to eat for miles around - thankfully just a five minute walk!

Room was a touch on the small side - we had no option but to place a suitcase on the spare bed (something I’d avoid normally out of respect), as there was so little floor space. Unit was semi-detached - not a problem as the neighbour was quiet, but potentially could worry some.

If you want to experience the atmosphere of a quiet country village, I would recommend this place. It is located in a place where you can see a beautiful mountain view. I liked that there was a well-maintained walking trail around the accommodation.

There is no place to eat or cook in the accommodation. For a hot meal, you have to go to the only cafe in the area, which is 2 minutes drive away or a 10-15 minutes walk away.

Host lady is a gem. Loved her welcome.nga mhi. Very quiet at night, everything you need is there. bathroom nice. Parking seemed safe for our bikes too.

Its close to aerodrome with helicopters starting early. Its far from anything but ok for a overnight. If you can try renting both rooms as we could only have one and had to share...then it gets very small....

I stayed here overnight wahile doing some hiking in the area. The room was modern and very comfortable, with all the amenities I required (fridge, kettle, microwave). The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent. I didn't meet my hosts but check-in and out were very easy. I hope to return to this area and would definitely stay again.

Wonderful location, nestled into the side of a mountain, with lovely views. Our hostess met us, got us some milk and showed us to our accomadation. She answered our questions. The room was compact, but had everything we needed for our short stay.

The floor was a little creaky and we didn't want to disturb other guests.

Such a lovely spot. The studio apartment had everything I needed and was set up in the hillside with a gorgeous view. At night could hear owls and frogs and see the stars so clearly. Everything was comfortable and I would definitely return.

It was in a gorgeous location, rural property which was very quiet and was warm and cosy inside.

Difficult access if carrying heavy suitcases as there were a number of step up to the cabin but otherwise

Lovely host and accommodation. It had a real home-like feel to it and everything was clearly well looked after.

Space was a bit tight so it was a bit of a juggle with 3 of us in the small space.

There were steeper steps than was expecting and the handrails didn't go all the way down.
