What I loved about the hotel was both the property itself and its location. While it’s slightly remote, that only adds to its charm. You’re surrounded by nature, with the soothing sounds of animals in the morning and evening. The beachfront bungalows are a dream—you fall asleep to the calming sound of the waves. Even the food is excellent, especially the ceviche, which is an absolute must-try for lunch or dinner!

There wasn’t anything I disliked about the hotel. However, as a heads-up for future guests, the bungalows aren’t completely sealed, so small animals, like geckos, might find their way inside. That said, it’s all part of the charm and the experience of staying close to nature.

We did not get a cabin on the shore: far too windy for that in April. Our room was just fine but a little cramped with double bed + single. Everything was clean,, comfortable and in good working order. Multiple wifi hotspots, all with the same password. Cell signal weak. AC & hot water! The restaurant prepares really delicious food. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I was able to store my Heineken 0.0 beer in their cooler, too. Special shout out to Juan and Martin!

Incredible experience! The restaurant was delicious, fairly priced, and had something for everyone.. even a picky 5 year old. The staff were wonderful and went above and beyond.. thank you Carlos! If you are looking for a driver, ask the hotel for Norlan’s number. He took great care of us from the moment we stepped off the ferry until we were safely back on a few days later. The beds were comfortable, AC worked great, and the showers had hot water! Howler monkeys, butterflies, and beautiful gardens.. we can’t wait to come back!

Can’t think of a thing, it was perfect

Beautiful setting - we stayed in a cabin and Lake Nicaragua was out the front and the volcano, monkeys and horses out the back. Decent road to get in, clean accommodations, free parking, good food at the restaurant and the staff was amazing. They assisted in booking the tour we wanted and helped with directions to other attractions. Carlos was our server at the restaurant and was so kind and helpful. We had a huge disappointment where we originally booked and found this hotel last minute and could not have been happier.

The howler monkeys pooped all over our car so don’t park under the trees! We thought it was funny, but lesson learned!

Beautiful, secluded hotel with a private beach and great vegetarian food! Rooms were comfortable and clean with ac and hot water. The remote location adds further to the appeal but it is easy to get to with bikes or scooters. Staff in particular were all amazing! Carolina and Douglas at the front desk especially, they were very friendly, helped me plan activities around the island and they also made sure I made it to my ferry safely due to cancellations. You can ask for massage in your room which was an added bonus!

We came back for a third time, this time we stayed for two nights at this wonderful hotel. For us the location with its beautiful sunsets and excellent views as well as the very attentive staff are reasons why we come back. The cabanas are very nice, equipped with everything you need, even an A/C. The bathroom is quite spacious. The views are spectacular, throughout the day you see different wildlife, in the evening we even saw monkeys. The hotel is situated close to Altagracia, at the other side of the island from the harbour where the ferry docks. It is a half hour drive, you then leave the main road, drive through a banana plantation and arrive at this hidden spot. Not many guests seem to stay there which we prefer, it is very quite.

The breakfast was a disappointment. This time it was less than during our previous visits. This could have been due to the low season.

Centrally located on the island and close to many attractions, hikes and beaches on the island, you can't go wrong with the location. Plus, the finca in itself is fantastic. Rooms are spacious, and the views are amazing.

The establishment doesn't have control over nature itself, but expect LOTS of bugs during the more humid season, which might unfortunately impact your stay here.

Beautiful Grounds, right on the lake, lovely room with vaulted ceiling and HOT WATER in the shower! So many places to sit outdoors and relax, hammocks, gazebos, rocking chairs, common room with couches and map books. Excellent, friendly service. Delicious food in the restaurant, hearty free breakfast. Monkeys and many species of birds around. Loved our stay here, highly recommend!

Can’t think of nothing, a truly positive experience.

Excellent and thoughtful service with seamless coordination between the reception, onsite restaurant, and tour/ transport operators. Lots of stars at night and there were even some fireflies by the beach making for a magical experience. Very pleasant swimming in the lake with views of both Volcano Conception and Maderas.

Transportation to and from the port was pricey.

The property is about 2 Km off-road, hence, very quiet and relaxing with full of nature. Garden and plants are well-maintained, room was clean, beds were comfortable. Wifi is strong in reception, lobby and restaurant. We had a standard room and had good enough WiFi. There are a variety of birds, animals and insects as well. I needed an anti-insect spray in the evening, as I’m well loved by insects. Food is delicious and pricey but had good qualities. Staff is very kind.
