Staff were super accommodating, respectful and friendly (10/10!) On most days, food was delicious. Wide selection of beverages.

Rooms smelled musty when one first checks in. Shower heads in some rooms are loose and have not been repaired despite complaints. Could not eat outside during the day because of the flies. Not all room safes work.

The location was amazing. The food was fantastic. I had the included breakfast option and the breakfast was the reason I woke up early the entire time I was there. It was top notch.

The bathrooms in the first and the second room I had needed work. In the first room the shower head has no hook to hang it so you have to hold on to it while showering. The second room had a bath that didn't drain well. Half way through your shower you're standing in a puddle of water. (I stayed there twice)

My wife and I stayed at this hotel right after our wedding. The hotel breakfast was great, there was something different every morning. The staff was very friendly, from the receptionists at the front desks to the guards at the gate. The facilities were clean and well kept. The restaurant had a wide selection of meals and they were all affordable too. My wife and I never felt the need to leave and buy food. Even the few guests we had over commented on how nice the hotel looked. My wife and I said when we return to Nigeria in the future, we are staying here at Ivy Hotel again.

The hotel Wi-Fi was extremely slow. I found it much faster to just turn off the Wi-Fi on my phone and use my data. The closet could use some more hangers, our suite only had 4 hangers to share between the 2 of us. It would be nice to have the restaurant menu printed on paper or somewhere on their website instead of only being viewable on the restaurant's iPad in person.

The hotel was located in GRA ikeja and it took about 25 minutes to get there from the airport. I liked the room size, the small kitchenette area and the clean bathroom. Everything was well appointed and the staff were very welcoming. I also really enjoyed their breakfast as well as the pool and gym. For a small hotel they had a lot of facilities that met my needs. Will stay again when next I am in town.

The gym changing area was outdoors and always occupied so I had to change in my room and where a tunic dress over my gym outfit that I could take off and put on before and after my session. Also the gym itself could do with a thorough clean and maybe needs an additional air conditioning as it was quite hot.

Breakfast was okay. However for the health conscious not too many options. It was a buffet with both hot and cold choices of food. I also liked that they offered breakfast for 2 persons instead of just 1 person which is common in a lot of Nigerian hotels even when you have booked a room for 2 persons. Location I also found to be very good especially if you don’t want to be far from the airport. A lot of good restaurants, banks and shopping mall close by. The room we had was quite spacious and comfortable that had a sitting area and a separate guest toilet. Some of the chairs had stains from past customers I guess but everything was clean. The bed was clean and very comfortable. We had a good night’s rest with no noise to disturb our sleep. They do have 24 hours front desk which worked well for us as our flight came in late and by the time we could get our bags and get to the hotel it was after midnight. There were several other travelers like us at that time as well. Hotel also excellent with communication. Shuttle service is available if you need it. Staff very professional and security very good.

The bathroom needs some updating but not terrible. Water pressure good and hot. Stairs only for those not on the ground floor, however they have staff who take your bags upstairs for you so you are not carrying the heavy bags yourself.

I really liked the hotel. It’s a small boutique hotel with very good facilities and it was clean. I can’t believe I have to mention it but it was well built and finished. they do help you carry any heavy luggage and they have service to pick you and take you to airport

I guess I was not used to some prices for the food which to me was steep but it could be just hotel prices. No lifts! I didn’t like having to go up and down several floors and no lifts but they do help you carry any heavy luggage. I wish they told me breakfast was complimentary from the beginning.

Great place to spend a quiet night. Great staff and manager, too. No hotel is perfect, but this one came close for comfort and hospitality. If you fly into Lagos anytime of the day or night, check in here, order room service, and visit the breakfast buffet in the morning to energize yourself for the day. Great value for the price.

I would like the intercom in the rooms to work flawlessly, albeit there's a plan B to communicate through wattsapp.

Comfortable hotel suitable for international guests. Rooms are spacious, bathroom works and in order (being maintained to a good standard). Cleaning is very thorough. Pool area is nice to chill by but difficult to have food outside due to flies - not the hotel's fault, it is just the climate. Staff are very friendly and they handed out Christmas/New Years gifts to all guests. Good Aircon in the rooms.

Different rates if you book in person as opposed to booking online via booking.com. I was told the mark-up for booking.com was substantial. Restaurant is expensive. Nigerian cuisine was delicious but the other "international" dishes should be avoided. Breakfast is interesting. As other reviewers have remarked. Hotel could improve by having staple breakfast items even if these are not necessarily western items. For example, staple breakfast items could include having the following items available every morning: Fried yam, plantain, eggs, Akara, fish red stew, sausage etc. You can then supplement this with your additions such as indomie etc. Fruits should also feature on the menu.

My stay at Ivy Emerald Hotel was exceptional! The staff were welcoming and attentive, ensuring all my needs were met. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking comfort and quality service.

While my stay at Ivy Emerald Hotel was mostly pleasant, there were a few areas for improvement. The check-in process took longer than expected, and the Wi-Fi signal and the intercom in my room was inconsistent. However, the staff were friendly and tried their best to address the issues promptly. With a few tweaks, this could be an excellent experience.

I liked the ambience a lot. The room, staircase and reception were very neat and I enjoyed my breakfast. Most of all the staff were pleasant and kind. It was money well spent and I’ll definitely comeback when I need to.
