New / refurbished hotel (or rather motel), 10 min walk to ferry with luggage. Small but functional single room, a bit dark, but with TV, kettle, comfy bed and small table and chair. Hotel sent check-in instructions in advance hence I stopped at Thon hotel for check-in on the way - no issue with that. Offloaded my bag to my room, drove to the pier and parked my car in a queue for the ferry - all worked well and the receptionist at Thon (very nice lady) told me everyone is doing the same. The hotel was very quiet at night. Whale watching office is 2 min walk, Arresten (best restaurant in Andenes) is 3 min walk. Also, they told from the beginning that there is no need to walk to Thon for check-out in the morning - just leave the key in the room and call the reception to let them know you left - you can do it from the ferry. You need to be at your car in the morning at least 20-25 min before ferry departure time as they start check-in and boarding.

There is a bit of walk to Thon for breakfast hence doesn't make sense in the morning if you want to catch first ferry - bring food with you / shop on the way or buy something on ferry. There is restaurant on site but it's closed, and generally facilities are very limited - this is a place to sleep. The hotel consists of 3 long 2-floor buildings with rooms, not individual houses, and the view is not that nice despite being on the water.

Anika at the reception was wonderful checking us in. She was very friendly and helpful and went over and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Location was great and within a 10 minute walk to the ferry, so we could park overnight in the queue for guaranteed early morning departure during peak season.

The only issue was that our room had a large skylight with no black out curtain mechanisms. So it was bright all the time at night in July, making it difficult to sleep well.

The location was adorable. It was right on the end of a island with a lighthouse overseeing everything. It was a beautiful spot! The rooms were clean. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was decent

The rooms were very small and because of renovations we had to walk to a nearby hotel for breakfast and check in and any other things that we needed. But overall it was wonderful

The rate was very reasonable and the location was very good. Also, I showed up an hour before check-in and the gentleman who helped me couldn’t have been more professional.

You gave to check-in at one hotel and then drive or walk a considerable distance to your room which is at another hotel. Also, I paid for the least expensive room and, even though the room had everything I needed, it was surprisingly small and I walked in not expecting much space.

Location is great, very new and fresh rooms with good beds. Easy check inn/out. Next to whale safari site.

Some basics missing in kitchen like sugar, salt & pepper. Missing that the bar/restaurant that was closed. TV could have had a few more news channels.

A reasonably spacious studio apartment with some basic facilities for cooking. Comfortable and clean. Free parking outside. A couple of decent restaurants within walking distance. We were at the beginning of the summer season so the town was very quiet. A bottle opener among the kitchen equipment would have been welcomed.

Seafront location. Layout and standard of furnishings very good as was the kitchenette. Strong WiFi. Quiet location overall. Overall very comfortable. Good parking.

No negative comment other than the check-in and checkout being at a different location. The same would have been true of breakfast although I did not require it.

It is a perfect hiker’s hotel. Small rooms and not many amenities, but the rooms are clean and have everything you need

It is a motel style place with exterior doors so guests hanging an about and talking on phones can be disturbing.

Good place to stopover. Clean, well equipped and comfortable. Handily located.

Although not a huge deal but having to collect keys from another hotel 10 minutes away in rain. However the staff there were friendly and helpful

The location was good. The size was comfortable for 4 people and it was well equipped.

We missed having a common washing machine facility close by. We had to go to the bleik campsite for our laundry.
