Amazing breakfast with option to make big packed lunch, can also fill thermos flask with hot toddy, tea or coffee. Good timings, 8-10 so suitable for all! Fabulous evening meal, similar set up every night but with new hot main every night. No need for snacking through day as excellent amounts kept us going all day, so fabulous value for money! Sauna in afternoon for afterski, nice separate sex, spacious and clean! Comfortable, plain but very clean and tidy rooms. Lovely drying room for all wet clothing!

Just enough bread, I am sure more would have been brought if needed. I woudl have loved some Prim for cheese fill! Maybe option for coffee through day in "stue"? Needed some milk/ powder in room for coffees... Maybe some more clothe hooks in room to hand up coats etc...

It was a very nice stay close to the cross country skiing trails which were amazing! We love the dinner - it was excellent. Very healthy. Its also great to have a possibility to go to the sauna after doing sport. And the common areas with views and fireplace were just amazing. We really enjoyed our stay.

The check-in was quite late - at 4 pm. And the breakfast could have more options - scrambled eggs, omelets, and some pastries. We would also appreciate having boiled water for a tea accessible all day.

What a fabulous stay in Nordseter! This was our first trip to Norway for cross-country skiing - both the skiing and the hotel did not disappoint. The hotel was very cosy and warm, and had a lovely homely feel to it; lots of cosy arm chairs, wooden panelling. The staff were relaxed and always very helpful. Although it wasn't very big, our room was warm and comfortable with en-suite shower and toilet. Even though temperatures outside varied from -8C to -15C it was warm and cosy in the hotel with an open fire crackling away in the guest's lounge. As well as the great skiing and the lovely hotel, one of the real highlights was the sumptuous, tasty food. It was buffet style with a huge variety of salads, vegetables, fish, meat, potatoes, rices, quiches, puddings, cheeses, you name it; it was there. It was hard to believe that one chef (clearly a real champion) and a couple of waiting staff could produce so much food at such excellent quality. Bravo! The cross-country skiing area was first class and we could easily ski to and from the hotel. We are definitely planning to go back in summer. Norway is absolutely wonderful.

I enjoyed staying at the mountain view apartment. The view was beautiful, the apartment had everything I needed, was clean and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the private sauna. There are many beautiful homes starting just on your door step.

The building is not very sound proof. Through the wooden floor every step, the guests on the floor above mine took, was very loud in my apartment.

Excellent location close to excellent cross-country ski tracks. Accommodation isn’t fancy but was comfortable and warm (we were in one of the apartments). Great food and very friendly staff.

Unless you have a car self catering is difficult.

Such a warm and friendly place to stay-very welcoming hosts, comfortable lounge, great apartment with views out to the mountains, and easy access to the ski trails. It is my son's 3rd time there and we will be back..

I like the cozy apartment and the nature around it. We did not have a car and came up to the place by bus which was really tricky since on Satruday there are only two busses going to the center and if you go down from Nordseter to Lillehammer by bus, u have to come back by taxi. There was no food shop nor restaurant in Nordseter so we had to go by taxi to Sjøsuen kiwi and buy food for our stay. On Sunday only one buss runs down to Lilehammer at 14:30, not earlier then that not later.I think its good idea if the rental property mentions this things, so people are aware not to come without car.

Clean, easy check-in and check-out, sauna in the apartment worked great, great view. Comfy beds. Proper cleaning equipment is provided.

Requires thorough cleaning (or pay a hefty cleaning fee), the main room's windows cannot be opened. Only a single piece of wood for the wood stove was provided (although we did not ask anyone for more).

In the beginning 'upgrade' to a different room, which was slightly bigger but we didn't like as much as the one we booked. Slight differences about it were solved in a professional way.

Location, ease of having all meals included in the price and cozy common areas.

We have stayed at this property a few times and we have experiences them running out pf breakfast basics (bread, eggs etc) quite early. Food planning and preparation for busy weekends could be improved.
