Great location and wonderful staff. The rooms are small, befitting their status as renovated grain mill chambers. Very nice rooms with heated bathroom floors. The breakfast is a buffet located in the neighboring restaurant (access direct from the hotel). The top floor has a birds eye view bar, great for an afternoon cocktail.

I was actually too warm (traveled in February)! The duvet was too good. I actually took the cover off and just used it. I was impressed that housekeeping made the bed up that way for me on the second night.

The room was very comfortable with room for 3 chairs & a small desk (upgraded to the larger room for 2). The room was well appointed & many little extras, including coffee in the room as well as in the lobby. Linens, furniture, towels, shower, etc. were of quality, Included breakfast provided for most tastes & was very good. The staff was helpful & friendly. Offer of taking items (meat, cheese, bread, etc.) from the breakfast bar for a light lunch for a small fee (about $10 USD each person)

Parking was not included, but a lot was available right next to & across from the hotel. Stayed on a Monday night & the rooftop bar was closed.

I have stayed at a few hotels with a child and have to say to say this was the best so far! Walking distance to transportation, restaurants next door and nearby, great playgrounds, shopping, and best of all the river and mountain scenery. Exceedingly relaxing!! Super comfortable bed and natural white noise. Liked the breakfast buffet and thought the new bathroom was nice, good water pressure. The view from the Toppen sky bar was lovely too at sunset.

We were delighted with the hotel. We arrived in Lillehammer early as we'd caught the night train and we were able to check in. This was much appreciated as we had had very little sleep and the weather was awful. The room was very comfortable and there were tea and coffee available. The bathroom was a good size and had everything you need including lovely toiletries. A very friendly member of staff in the roof top bar (amazing views). Breakfast was delicious.

Really homely atmosphere, well designed with access to great Egon restaurant in the old mill next door. The skybar was fun with views towards the ‘94 Winter Olympics ski jump and surrounding hills, worth a look from the top too! Staff were very friendly and facilities good.

Only downside central LED light fitting in bedroom seemed to glow in the dark during night;

This is a nice choice in Lillehammer, well located and very nicely decorated rooms, super comfy beds. Wi-Fi works, toiletries smell great and it is an overall great choice. The breakfast is very good.

The room we had was really tiny and then some choices could be made, like some hooks to put hats and handbags, smaller lamps (these are huge) and maybe more streamlined sitting. There was some sort of climate thing in the bathroom that was broken and there was no towel to go out from the shower.

Everything! location is perfect for central Station bus and train transport from Oslo and to ski resorts. Also in the heart of town for shops, restaurants etc. Hotel is beautifully appointed and the Egon restaurant, part of the hotel complex, is top notch, probably an all-time favorite globally. Rooms are compact but with everything you could want. perfectly heated ( under your control) and tastefully decorated. The roof-top bar is awesome, cozy and has amazing views. The staff are really friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. We cannot fault Aksjemollen, we'd recommend it to anyone. Memorable.

The staff are very efficient & friendly the location was perfect, right in the centre of the town & the Toppen roof top bar has a great atmosphere.... all in all a fantastic holiday

Nothing not to like

Bedroom was beautifully presented. Coffee machine in the bedroom was nice, view from the cocktail bar was great. Breakfast was very good. We just stayed one night.

Room was compact with no drawers, but had some coat hangers. You have to pay for parking.

Excellent hotel in a good location, with many local restaurants close by. Breakfast vey good.

Whilst we appreciate that this was a classic Norwegian hotel, our twin room was quite cramped for the price we paid, also the 'twin' was two single mattresses on a double base. Hmmmm. Whilst we were there it was hot and there was no air conditioning in our room. Shower was not the biggest.
