Close by the lake, good price. Lots of space in the room, and the shower was hot and good water pressure. Common area looked very comfy, and there’s some outside furniture as well, it was great to sit in the sun and enjoy the view after dinner. There’s a little shared kitchen for the people staying in the rooms.

The water takes a long time to heat up. The beds in the twin bed rooms are very narrow.

We adored this place - it is more like a hostel (although rooms have own bathrooms), but the lobby was a lovely place to hang out, the staff very sweet and the rooms super-comfortable. They also have a playground outside that we - even as adults! - totally enjoyed. The breakfast was at an extra cost, but was well-worth it. Overall, a very wonderful experience at a very affordable price. The hotel is a bit outside Lillehammer (7 min drive/20 min walk), but as a 'stopover', a good choice. We actually found Lillehammer to not be a worth the visit - very touristy. Although we did not stay very long.

Check-in had to be by 8pm, and we cut it close due to driving time from Alesund being longer than expected. They may have options for folks who do arrive after 8pm, but we didn't need to go that route - but we recommend that if you do expect to be a bit late, talk with staff to work out check-in process.

Friend group stayed in 5 stays and I think this was their favorite one. The room was spacious, clean and with good wifi. The common area looks sooo cozy and I wished I could have time to use/chill in it. The sunset view with all the campervans was kinda fire.

The location is a bit further from everything (we drove so it was ok). The kitchen is unfortunately a little bit too small and basic, no microwave.

The Nordic minimalistic design made each room feel spacious, comfortable, and incredibly clean. There was an impressive attention to detail, ensuring all the amenities - from the efficient WiFi to the comfortable bedding - worked to enhance my stay. Despite being a budget hotel, no corners have been cut in ensuring comfort and quality. One particular feature I'd like to highlight is the hotel's environmentally friendly approach. It is clear that great effort is put into maintaining sustainable operations, from energy-efficient fixtures to eco-friendly toiletries and waste management. It's refreshing to see a budget hotel committed to such initiatives without compromising on the quality of service. Perhaps the most memorable aspect of Lillehammer Turistsenter Budget Hotel, however, was the staff. From the moment I arrived, the team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable.

The property is lovely, with a great outdoor area where we met, drank and laughed with friends. The view is incredible, could not stop hanging my head out the window to take more photos!

Rooms aren't airconditioned - they had small portable fans in, which was fine to sleep with, but the curtains were wide open when we arrived so they were stinking hot. I understand the idea would be to show the view, but I'd appreciate a cooler room and check out the view once the sun went down.

Perfect for a nights stop. Smiley cheerful staff. Great to have a kitchen which we can use.

Lack of personal storage space a challenge IF staying for longer than one night. Works ok if you are able to manage by keeping all your things in your suitcase.

The room was spacious and clean. And we were close to the shared kitchen which had everything a kitchen would need minus a spatula. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

If travelling without a car, is it a bit of a walk to the bus stop.

Really nice staff and located close to main road and actually easy access to Lillehammer turn off (we made a mess of navigating this and ended up on roads that don't connect to the centre). Lovely one nighter with a view of the fjord. It was our first night in Norway. What a great way to start!

I took the room which is as comfortable as any five star hotel. The staff is warm and friendly. The bonus is that there is a share kitchen and plenty of car park. It might be a campervan facilities but the room inside the main building is really nice with private bathroom like any 5 star hotel

Really peaceful quiet location, even when the campervan site next to the hotel was full, it wasn't at all rowdy
