Close by the lake, good price. Lots of space in the room, and the shower was hot and good water pressure. Common area looked very comfy, and there’s some outside furniture as well, it was great to sit in the sun and enjoy the view after dinner. There’s a little shared kitchen for the people staying in the rooms.

The water takes a long time to heat up. The beds in the twin bed rooms are very narrow.

We had a very nice double room which was nicely furnished and comfortable. The reception and common areas were also very nice with seating outside. The shared kitchen was clean and well equipped.

Was fine for us but it’s 2ams from the centre of Lillehammer for those who don’t won’t to walk. It was an exceptionally hot day and our room was very hot.

We adored this place - it is more like a hostel (although rooms have own bathrooms), but the lobby was a lovely place to hang out, the staff very sweet and the rooms super-comfortable. They also have a playground outside that we - even as adults! - totally enjoyed. The breakfast was at an extra cost, but was well-worth it. Overall, a very wonderful experience at a very affordable price. The hotel is a bit outside Lillehammer (7 min drive/20 min walk), but as a 'stopover', a good choice. We actually found Lillehammer to not be a worth the visit - very touristy. Although we did not stay very long.

Check-in had to be by 8pm, and we cut it close due to driving time from Alesund being longer than expected. They may have options for folks who do arrive after 8pm, but we didn't need to go that route - but we recommend that if you do expect to be a bit late, talk with staff to work out check-in process.

Friend group stayed in 5 stays and I think this was their favorite one. The room was spacious, clean and with good wifi. The common area looks sooo cozy and I wished I could have time to use/chill in it. The sunset view with all the campervans was kinda fire.

The location is a bit further from everything (we drove so it was ok). The kitchen is unfortunately a little bit too small and basic, no microwave.

The Nordic minimalistic design made each room feel spacious, comfortable, and incredibly clean. There was an impressive attention to detail, ensuring all the amenities - from the efficient WiFi to the comfortable bedding - worked to enhance my stay. Despite being a budget hotel, no corners have been cut in ensuring comfort and quality. One particular feature I'd like to highlight is the hotel's environmentally friendly approach. It is clear that great effort is put into maintaining sustainable operations, from energy-efficient fixtures to eco-friendly toiletries and waste management. It's refreshing to see a budget hotel committed to such initiatives without compromising on the quality of service. Perhaps the most memorable aspect of Lillehammer Turistsenter Budget Hotel, however, was the staff. From the moment I arrived, the team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable.

For a budget hotel everything was excellent and served our purpose. Room was comfortable. Location was great and hotel easy to find and check in hassle free. Had a nice area for socialising in the evening.

No much not to like except the bathroom was on the small side, especially the shower.

The place is very cozy and perfect for kids as it has a very nice playground area (outdoor). 15 min drive to Hunderfossen Eventyrpark and Child farm (which is so much fun).

Pity they don’t have breakfast buffet but there is a kitchen for cooking and they sell some bakery and coffee.

The staff was amazing - very friendly and helpful. The baby bed, which we have ordered additionally, was lovely - with some Disney characters. The room was clean and also a kitchen was accessible on the same floor.

The bathroom was a little small and the curtains did not shade the room.

Cozy atmosphere, very clean, family room had 2 separate rooms with new bathroom. Staff was very friendly, and little shop for essentials was at the reception including freshly baked goods.

Nothing really other than the view (room was looking into caravan park).

Everything was great. We had a room for a family with 2 kids and it was pleasant. The bathroom was really great, big and clean. The lobby was a highlight with the wood furniture and the warm decoration. The employees were really nice and helpful.
